Time we spent well there loved the views from the top floor, but as we started to settle in and actually take notice of the place the it was not clean properly, dished still had lip prints and hand prints on them, dishes, pots and cutlery was not washed up and cleaned properly, floor was making the bottom of our foot black not sure if they mopped, sheets had stains on them, curtains had dirt or mould on it, fans and lights dusty and looked like they haven’t been cleaned in ages. It’s not kids safe for toddlers sharp edges on the coffee tables and the tile is not good if they slip and fall, only safe place was the bedroom that had carpet. Tv is outdated so if you do stay here make sure you bring a projector or Xbox or something just to have entertainment. Pool was good but as we started to notice the glass on the pool was dirty. DoorDash pretty good to order and collect down stairs but other then that it’s was not very clean and tidy specially if you have little ones that touch everything I wouldn’t recommend.

Really lovely place. Welcoming, clean, feels new and so quiet inside the apartments. Right by the creek, could probably catch a nice red bream or trevally by throwing a line in! Very central, can walk to stadium, town centre, pubs, clubs and restaurants. Secure parking and secure building, felt very safe staying here. Slept very well, comfortable beds and furniture. Will definitely stay here again.

Look, some of these properties are not as nice as others. Some "owners" choose not to maintain a high quality and as a guest you its the luck of the draw it would seem. We changed apartments the next morning after arriving after hours, due to the first apartment being dirty, grotty and without proper working air conditioners
However the 2nd apartment was fine.

Comfy bed and great shower. No iron which was only found after reception closed. Made work the next day uncomfortable. Whilst strong smell of cleaning products, the furniture was grubby.

Very uncared for rooms, terrible ants. Whilst you could at a stretch call it clean - everything was very old and tarnished (all lamp bases and metal rusty, corners of showers rusty, toilet roll holders rusty. Bed mattresses very thin and no pillow tops. Balcony doors rusted shut, screen doors shabby. No rubbish bin. Uncomfortable furniture. And very expensive. Will not revisit and do not recommend.

Secure property, check in was easy enough. Room is smaller than we thought and needs a bit of maintenance/update as carpet is a bit worn.
Location is good, close to cinema, restaurants and Qld country bank stadium.

Holborn Central is in a good location with a variety of restaurants and a cinema with a15 minute walk to Woolworths and the mail. Our two bedroom apartment was a decent size and quiet.
The room was very run down and dirty. The showers had mildew. You could hardly see our the windows. There was several things broken the door to the washing machine and dryer, broken and missing remotes for the air conditioning.
The couch was very small and uncomfortable. The beds medium comfort.
There a very small gym which smelt Misty and of sweat and had not water cooler or towels.
There is secure underground parking and the best thing was the pool.
With a bit of tlc and repair it could have been a good unit but servicing is lacking.

The carpets were stained with an overall dirty appearance. Room advertised said 2 bathrooms, we had one and very slippery. Night 3, air-con in smallest room suddenly developed an unbearable foul smell. Shared air-con control for 3 rooms would not to turn the air-con off. Was unable to enter the room for sleep. Had to ring emergency number 12pm, no other rooms available, was instructed to turn off main air-con switch which shut down all 3 air-cons. Was a pity as the room had the potential of being great if the maintenance had been up to scratch. Pool also needs rails to assist with getting in and out.
