All staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The original concierge /reception gentleman was extra kind and thoughtful enough to allow me an early check in without charge until his female manager stopped him and demanded I pay an early check in fee of AUD100 to which I refused. My check in date was October 7 ( Monday) which is a public holiday, if Ibis would like to check their staff roster log they will be able to find out which staff go out of their way to make guest want to come back and stay and which staff is not suitable to be working in the hospitality industry. Also the day before I checked out I suffered a nasty fall hence hurt my should, the gentleman at the reception at the day I checked out helped me load all my luggage’s into the taxi which is highly appreciated. Overall, will recommend this hotel, cannot let “one rotten apple spoilt the entire barrel”, so to speak.

Was really astonished that standard room could be so narrow! Even not able to open my suitcase! Anyway room was clean and location was good. Although very close to highway, we were not annoyed by the traffic noise.

Great hotel in lovely Bangalaroo district, very walkable for the wharf, restaurants, wildlife/aquarium, metro etc. Everything very clean, quiet and smart, staff lovely. Slight marking down as no safes in rooms and rooms quite small, but overall definitely happy to recommend and would not hesitate to stay there again. Enjoy!

The property is priced to reflect that it is a simple, clean, basic hotel, with compact rooms in a Barangaroo location that normally commands prices 2-3 times more expensive. It is by a flyover but insulated from the sound. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and looked after. If you want a few days away at a sensible price, right in the heart of things, run by people who provide excellent care. This makes a great option.

The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful! The hotel is conveniently located in Barangaroo, within walking distance to most amenities. The gym is quite good and appears to have been recently renovated. The only drawback for me was the extremely small room, which felt quite cold and cramped, and the shower head didn't provide a strong water flow. I believe the price is a bit on the higher side for a basic hotel, especially when you can pay just $30-50 more and stay at a luxurious 5-star hotel down the road. I left a day earlier because I was a bit uncomfortable in the room.

Rooms are small but clean and well appointed. The bar serves pizza ubtil 10pm which is perfect if you dont want to go out. Walkable to cbd foreshore hotspots.
