Great hotel, clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and attentive. Providing mini bar and breakfast could have more variety.

Room was nice and clean but the chromecast did not work in our room

We were disappointed with the size and lack of comfort for two people in our room. There was only one chair, so not ideal for sitting to watch TV or read; bathroom offered almost no privacy; the only useful storage was one drawer each; the iron could only just be reached without climbing on a chair. The plus side: great location; mostly quiet; fabulous breakfast!!!! Restaurants were expensive compared to average Melbourne prices. Service was excellent.

Loved the location to shops, restaurants and beaches.

The staff were lovely the room was very nice and cozy made for the perfect winter getaway with our little family

Hotel com excelente atendimento , fiz reserva de 2 quartos um deles tinha um cheiro forte de vazamento .( bolor) Num aspecto geral hotel é ótimo mais por ser 5 estrelas café da manhã fica a desejar ( pode apenas pedir um suco, um café e uma opção de prato ) o spa e aberto ao público em geral então somente consegui um horário e éramos 3 . Restaurante Audrey s maravilhoso .

Cleaning stuff can certainly improve, the room was not vacuumed or swept for two days, used bottles and glasses were not removed.

For the decades this is first time front reception telling me I never did in my life- ordered something thing to the spa , I do not know where is the spa, then someone took speakers from the room, I have not seen them from the entrance to the hotel, I am 66 , and a Doctor, this is abusing I would never back to this hotel I am really disappointed

We stayed at the Intercontinental Sorrento for two nights and were initially told over the phone that we’d receive an upgrade, but upon arrival, we were given the room we originally booked. The Alfredo/patio area was spacious, but with only one chair facing a fence, it felt poorly designed. For $500+ per night, the room and breakfast options were underwhelming. The limited breakfast selection and average food quality did not justify the price. Additionally, the toilet flush button kept falling into the toilet, and while wine glasses were provided, there was no bottle opener in the room—small details that made the stay feel less refined than expected. On top of that, the curtain didn’t close completely, allowing a lot of light in and disrupting sleep, and the air conditioning vent was putrid. Overall, the experience did not meet the premium standard we anticipated

My stay had many positives, but the hotel was quite busy. The staff were excellent, polite, helpful, and always attentive. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, though it was near the bar, and the noise continued until the early hours. The hotel’s pool looked great, but unfortunately, it was too crowded on my first day to enjoy it. Overall, it was a good experience, but more space and quiet would have made it even better."

Hotel, restaurants and location were great. Staff service was variable - some welcoming some not so. Check-in was very slow and cumbersome. Breakfast each morning was provided promptly and very nice - but servicing at breakfast was poor and dis-organised. Overall, our experience was mixed - some things great, some things really need improving to make this a 5-star hotel. It's still some way off.

The hotel has been tastefully done and the pool area is nice. The rooms were very small. Be careful when you choose your room type. We were lucky that we got a bayview room which made our room a little less claustrophobic. Our friends paid more to get a verandah room. The verandah was tiny and had a huge privacy screen so there was no view or air flow.

Nice property with potential for much better. Room tiny with no closet and inadequate bathroom and tea making spaces. Room not cleaned and serviced properly over 5 days. Breakfast buffet a sad affair and stale bread one morning. Hot Brekky ok but little choice. Breakfast staff unhelpful and clearly don’t want to be there. Overall disappointing and issues that have been pointed out before but ignored when looking at previous reviews. Not up to intercontinental or 5 star standards. Reception team very good but it doesn’t make up for the inadequacies of the rest.

Beautiful hotel with a very European vibe. Pool was ideal to lounge by. Unfortunately most of the restaurants on site arent open during the week so dining options were limited.

Amazing stay well worth a visit to the spa for the bathhouse experience will come again

Incredible! Everything was beyond my expectations and more. Absolutely loved the hotel decor and so different to other 5 star hotels that focus on a cookie cutter look. Everything was just incredible, the staff so attentive and warm snd inviting. The food, service, the room all 5*. Can’t wait to come back.

Located right in town so very accessible to everything. For the price paid however, did not find this good value. Nothing about the room was overly special. Room service finished at 9pm. The balcony was very dirty and needed a clean. Personal preference, but pillows were very uncomfortable. Buffet breakfast was very good.
