this Jacobs creek retreet is nothing to do with the wine Jacobs creek. the hotel is located quite far from the major road. room is relatively small. because the houses are very old, and close to the garden. there would have worms on the room floor. barth room is quite dark, though there is a bath tub. garden is very nice. owner is an old couple. When I was there, Charles, the owner is taking care of retreat and serve us buffet breakfast by himself. He is a nice gentleman. generally, I think the hotel is bit over priced.

The room was spotless, because the check in/out is contactless and I was out all day I didn’t see any staff.

Contactless and easy check in. Beautiful setting, established gardens, outdoor seating & pool area. Very pretty. Comfortable bed. Spa bath too.

When we went to empty the bath the floor flooded, because of a blockage and we had to moved to another chalet that was inconvenient. Once we moved we did not hear another word from the host to check on us, which seemed odd.

This place is amazing. The spot is secluded, quiet and serene. The ONLY thing I would want people to know is it is about 7-8 minutes from the nearest restaurant. There are bbq facilities but if you’re looking to walk to dinner this is not the place. If you’re looking for a quiet breathtaking experience around every corner of the unit and grounds, this is your place.

We had a fantastic stay at Jacob’s Creek Retreat. Jerry went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and the rustic, peaceful setting was perfect for our wedding anniversary.

We loved this tranquil setting, an Oasis amongst the vineyards, a colonial homestead bearing all the hallmarks of hard toiling settlers forging a life in the New World.

What a fabulous stay. Beautiful gardens and surrounds, fabulous pool and quaint room with fabulous bathroom and spa. Rom included some plates, cutlery and glasses so could also use the outdoor (clean and provided paper towels, utensils and olive oil spray) BBQ for great meals. Also some dishwashing gear provided. lovely little bubbles and small cheese platter provided in the mini fridge. Highly recommend and visit the Moorooroo cellar door tasting right next door.

The serenity and the gardens and surrounds was amazing

The grounds of this property are just beautiful. The rustic front gate to the fountains throughout the gardens were a joy. The facilities included a beautiful looking pool and bbqs, fire pits all ready to go, if wanted. The accommodation was quirky.

It was just beautiful. Definitely Worth staying here for a romantic getaway. Absolutely gorgeous gardens and accommodation. Attention to detail was awesome..

This is one of those places where you count your lucky stars that you booked there. If you like outdoor spaces that are nicely landscaped with the feel of being on an estate, this is the place. The rooms were as can be seen in the photos. Our king room was nicely appointed, and had refrigerator and welcome items. The pool area with a canopied bbq area adjacent to it was divine. There is a common area building with sofas just behind a huge lawn (for lawn bowling). Five minutes from Jacobs Creek wines (and recommend the dinner there). For us, this place was magical.

Gorgeous Property, which included a happily welcomed pool, due to being quite warm during our 3 night stay. Very quiet, with beautiful, comfortable cottages with all the little luxuries to enjoy.
