very nice staff , very helpful.

The motel is a little older, but the rooms were spotless and very well presented. It’s in a good location, with the convenience of parking right outside your unit. The staff were absolutely awesome — friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The room had all the basics, and the breakfast was simple but hit the spot. It’s a very affordable place to stay, offering great value for money. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Clean

Small, low clearance parking, dirty floors, thin walls to neighbouring rooms, shower floods bathroom, bed spreads were satin and not ironed, dark room as glass lovers replaced with timber, microwave on bench with no power outlet accessible.

Affordable and very clean. Sheet crispy and clean. Friendly staff. Easy parking straight off room. Perfect for over night whilst travelling. Very affordable. One area of improvement would be more than just one pillow per bed in the room.

Every time we have to stay at Mackay we have always stayed here. Staff are amazing, kids love the free pancake breakfast they get to have.

Neat n tidy, place is showing its age a bit.

Motel clean although was not serviced between the time I was there. Had to ask for some milk.No restaurant service over the weekend.

The room of clean from bed up , but the terracotta tiles on the floor was very very dirty lots of mole on it ,we were down near the laundry and was very noisy . If I stay again I would ask for room up the front of the building may be floor would be cleaner and not so noisy , breakfast was ok

TV didn’t work. Neither did the WIFI.

Friendly staff, clean and tidy room close with everything we need. Perfect place to stay.

Since before arriving, the manager was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food from the restaurant smelt delicious. Our fur baby loves the quiet and window seat from our room. The room was neat, tidy, and functional. Every staff member has made an effort to say hi and to ask if if our stay was enjoyable. Very happy to recommend the Rose Hotel to anyone.

Great

Out dated motel, door handles broken, ceiling stuck together with heavy duty masking tape, arrived to have to ring a number and told lift the key mailbox and pick a key to whichever room. When departed got phone call hours after we had left accusing us of taking the key when we left it in the room in front of the tv.

Dog's barking inside units. Fridge that leaked defrosting water. Shower where water runs out of cubicle. Noisy party till 11.pm. people smoking out side of designated area. Can't recommend . No good points.

Property was good value for the money, not super new and dated but clean. Down side was that there were no blankets just sheets and the itchy throw over thing. It’s not summer yet and there is still a chill at night. If you like warmth at night ask for a blanket in the room.
