Mantra Nelson Bay

When I made the booking, it is a two bedrooms room. However, the design of this room is strange. It has one big door and has two doors on left and right. It just like a two separate rooms. My kids are small and cannot accept this room type. However, I get upgrade for my room type and live in a house that is great. When you make the booking, please take care for this since I think this cannot be upgrade in the peak season. Please note that the hotel just has 30 mins free wifi that is very strange.

Everything is going fine during our hotel stay. Stunning view with good room facilities. Walking distance to town centre. Really convenient.

床不舒服

公寓式酒店，因为达到的较晚，摸黑赶到那里前台已经没有人了，费劲的打听了半天，才在门口的保险箱里摸出钥匙。房间在一楼，没有空调，关门睡觉屋里一股味儿。靠着码头还算近。酒店出门一转弯有个white lady的店，吓一跳。。。

Very confortable stay very nice surroundings the spa and pool were very convenient

Location - especially to Bowls club for meals etc Will return for another holiday

The property & staff were exceptional. The only negative (just because we are a little older) was the mattresses in our bedroom were old and tired, they could use an upgrade.

Location and facility were excellent for our four night stay. Apartment had everything we needed.

Relaxing

The apartment was not up to the high standard expected from Mantra. Bath did not have a plug and basin plug was too small. One towel had a rip in it. Toilet roll holder had a screw sticking out to stop it spinning. Bedroom light didn't work. I'm assuming apartments are owned by investors and managed by Mantra, but Mantra need to ensure apartments are maintained to high standards. Location was great, able to walk to shops and surrounding bays. Amazing cafes, restaurants and massage parlors.

Great value and close to everything just a shame that the weather was miserable.

Quiet, safe, easy parking, nice staff. Property condition is fine, cleanness is OK, WiFi is very slow, but we have enough mobile data so it's not a issue for us. Swimming poor is beautiful. It takes 7 mins walking to Woolworths and Thai food, 12 min to town centre. Pretty good for family traveling.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at the Mantra Nelson Bay Aqua! The location is absolutely perfect — just a short stroll to cafes, restaurants, and everything you need, making it incredibly convenient for a family getaway. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, offering plenty of room for our whole family to relax. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped, which allowed us to enjoy leisurely cooked breakfasts each morning — a real bonus. Everything was tidy and thoughtfully set up, making our stay stress-free and enjoyable from start to finish. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-located place to stay in Nelson Bay. A lovely spot and a great experience all around!

Very clean and has all the necessary amenities.

There was no problem with the property. I would say it was great value for money. I would love to just see them put some money into it and update the apartments. It was very outdated. Carpet everywhere. I was very worried about the kids eating at the dinner table due to there being carpet under it. I went with a 4 year old. 2.5 year old and a 9 month old. It had everything you needed and free parking which was a must as everywhere is metered parking in Nelson bay. Close to everything in the city centre and easy to find. Management was so helpful and lovely to deal with.

I liked the size of the room, the kitchen and bathroom facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. What was challenging was that the lights kept on overnight around the facility get through the blinds. In addition the soundproofing is not great. Ocassionally you hear footsteps overhead.
