What a great room! The bottle of wine, chocs, and Anzac biccies were a lovely touch.

Loved our Heritage Room. So cozy and peaceful, but close to food options, the beach and coastal walks. Easy to book. In-room treats were a lovely surprise. Parking available free of charge and McClaren Vale wineries were an easy drive away. Loved the Port Noarlunga Surf Life-saving Club across the road. And the Christies Beach Sailing Club is a pleasant seaside stroll away, too. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

I had a wonderful stay at McCloud House. Deb, Julie and Bob were pleasant and welcoming, and they provided all I needed for my stay. The house was so quiet, even though it’s on the Esplanade and there’s a constant flow of people walking along. The view from the Beach View room was incredible! The ocean, the Jetty; I loved having my afternoon tea on the balcony. To get to the beach, all I had to do was go downstairs, walk across the road, and I was there. There were so many places to see at Port Noarlunga and surrounds, and they were all within walking distance of the property. You can walk from Christies Beach to the Onkaparinga River Mouth View Point, with a rest stop at McCloud House along the way. The area is very friendly and I would love to visit again!

A whimsical and relaxing staycation in the beautiful seaside location of Port Noarlunga. We absolutely adored the decor, the history of McCloud House and really enjoyed the large bath, breakfast supplies and thoughtful goodies of wine, chocolate and homemade Anzac cookies. We can't wait to return to enjoy the stunning sunsets 🌞

Just a great combination for a relaxing and easeful experience - I kept to myself but was confident Deb and the crew were available if I needed anything beyond the well supplied accommodation. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

Amazing hotel right across from the beach, in fact any closer and you would be in the water. You do not have to bring a thing as it is all there for you. They even had bubble bath ready to use for the bath. The owners are wonderful people ready to share their knowledge. Super clean and loads of restraunts in the area, you do not have to leave. Will be staying there again.

Stayed in the Heritage room, it was lovely. Especially enjoyed the gas fire which we sat in front of most evenings wine in hand. Great location right across the road from the beach with plenty of parking options, quick walk to the restaurants and cafe’s.

The property was in a perfect location. Great view of the beach. Plenty of coffee and restaurants very close. Julie the host was available and attentive. Very spacious quiet and the balcony was excellent. The claw foot tub is huge and a nice touch. Thank you!

Was a very nice room, clean and tide with alot of holiday comforts like a bath, fire place, balcony with ovean views and a room with lots of natural light. Would definitely come back and recommend to stay here.
