The location is good as it is the middle way between Sydney city center and the Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park & Australian Reptile Park. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room rate is reasonable. WIFI and overnight parking is free. Recommend it!

Clean, comfortable and lovely chinese meal prepared by owner

Overall small room but fine. Only issue was the hot water. Set it fine then minutes later it was scalding hot.

The motel was very clean and well maintained. It is an old school type motel that was most likely built 50 plus years ago but for our overnight stay provided all we required. Unfortunately the onsite restaurant was closed when we stayed which is our only concern. Would stay again.

Very run down

Good👍: Affordable. Nice people. Nice restaurant on site. Shower pressure. Not good👎: 1. The shower head was immovable and aimed at my shoulder height (I’m 187cm/6’2”). 2. Room description said “cable channels”… but only if you log in with your account. 3. The internet dropped out four times so I gave up on watching a free movie. For some reason I found myself awake at 3:30am, however, so I ran an experiment. The Internet was fine then. Perhaps when (potentially) nine other rooms weren’t drawing on the resource it works. 4. Though the basic items were all cleaned appropriately, a thorough clean of the bathroom had not happened for sometime because there was mould visible and wipeable on the tiles in places. This also made me uncomfortable about thorough cleaning of other items. It wasn’t a good look. So, when they clean properly, change the shower heads, fix the internet, and get cable channel subscriptions (or correct their advertised description) they’ll be great.

Great room clean and comfortable

A clean comfortable motel room in an area with few options. The welcome was good, friendly and the room had all I needed with no highway noise that I noticed. Good accessibility from the motorway in either direction and handy to Hornsby, Mt Wilga Rehab., and Coles Asquith. I would stay here again.

Convenient to M1 for an early getaway. No toaster eas frustrating

This place is good for short stays if you’ve transportation. A bit dated. Some rooms seem better than others. Last time I had a great room, this time, you couldn’t swing a cat in the bathroom and a spare bed took up too much room in the main room. I also discovered this time that there is no shampoo and conditioner provided. This would be a welcome addition. Attracts some riff raff too though. There seems to be someone who lives there permanently and smokes his way around the carpark and there was a drunk in the neighbouring room cursing and swearing at the poor woman that was with him! Anyway, like I said, good for short stays.

Stuck in the 80s But okay

We ordered a cooked meal in the room at night and it was prompt, well-priced, and very nice. The motel is older but well kept and for us very convenient and as expected at the price. We have stayed here several times.

The chef prepared curried beef and fried rice for our evening meal - delicious.
