Enjoyed our stay

Good

We have visited this property a number of times. However we have never stayed in the bottom level. The fridge wasn’t working, when they sorted it everything froze. The room wasnt carpeted and there was an ash like substance through the room. There were also really strong fumes either chlorine or bleach. This property has a really convenient location for us and this is our first really negative experience.

Very helpful

We weren't expecting a lot for the price, but our room was a bit more run down than in the photos. It suited our purposes for an overnight stay and visiting people nearby. Probably wouldn't stay again.

Spacious room, all amenities, comfortable bed. Only thing was a bit of noise from the motorway next door, but to be expected.

Given a room that was

Our stay was suitable for our needs. We were given wrong directions to our room but fortunately it was ok to find given it was not dark yet. I booked for 1 adult and 2 kids but room only had a double bed. Luckily plans changed and my eldest child stayed at home.

Location is good with shopping centre and couple meal options in walking distance. The rooms are a little dated and WIFI not always working.Was good for what we required though.

Generally ok but carpet, chairs and bedspread where overdue for a deep clean. They had a lot of wiped off marks all over them. Staff , location and everything else in the area great

Old and run down. Uncomfortable bed

Staff were very friendly. Room was super clean and fresh. Excellent for one night or a few nights. Great location, very handy.

Comfortable accommodation but it is dated and has obvious wear on everything. There were mystery stains on the throw on the bed which made me a bit uncomfortable. It is however safe and comfortable for an overnight but I’m not sure I would stay longer. Staff were really nice.

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. House maids were friendly and helpful

The fire alarm on the ceiling in my room began loudly chirping intermittently shortly after 5.30 am.I couldn’t smell any smoke.I had gone to bed at 1 am after attending the State of Origin game.I called Reception about 6.15 am to ask someone to come to my room & stop the noise.The guy at Reception said he couldn’t leave Reception & said the maintenance guy goes home at 6 am & I should have rung up before 6 am. ( I was not aware of their maintenance staff hours). I said I had planned to sleep until about 8.30 that morning & my sleep had been wrecked.He said a housekeeper could attend my room in around half an hour’s time. I said I was now awake & would leave but that I should be given a free night’s accommodation as recompense for the wrecked night.I told him I was coming back to Brisbane from Bundaberg in about a week The guy at Reception & the guy that relieved him refused to offer me any recompense at all. Very poor treatment of me overall by the staff.By the way, these smoke alarm batteries are supposed to be changed all at the same time on a yearly basis, so these unfortunate incidents don’t occur. It seems that doesn’t occur at Mt Ommaney Hotel Apartments. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here.

This place was quiet, the room was nice a clean, staff at front desk was very friendly, The room was not expensive, great place to stay without breaking the budget
