It was nice that, having arrived an hour before the formal check-in time, we were able to go straight to the room - that meant we were able to get to the beach much more easily - something that was especially useful given that the next day was rained out.
Otherwise the room was fine - functional, neat and tidy without being a wow room - but that wasn't what we were looking for - it's not the sort of room you'd want to spend hours in (though we did have a drink one night and that went well) but the location of the hotel is its greatest selling point.

Room was okay, hotel is definitely dated. Only "lux" thing about it is the location/beach views. Bathroom is poorly designed, towels dingy, very little water pressure in shower, almost no amenities, very limited room service, tight covered parking, parking level foyer reeked of urine. Did not use laundry service - found a laundromat close by instead.

Comfortable room with a fantastic view of the beach. Parking underneath is good and we enjoyed eating at the restaurant both nights we were there. We had breakfast at the beach kiosk across the road and watched the surfers while we had our coffee, bliss! We will be back.

Booked a city room but was upgraded to an ocean view which was much appreciated. Dinner ends too early but they tried and fitted us in and food was nice. BUT breakfast is awful - poor quality and limited selection not worth paying for. I’d stay again but would leave the hotel for breakfast.
