The hotel is a bit dated but it’s good value for money. We stayed in a family room with two en suites.

Stay was good as usual and not the first time I’ve stayed at the Pagoda will stay again without hesitation's. Only thing was ordered room service for dinner and it was average maybe it being a Tuesday night not sure…

Lovely suite, clean and tidy. Bed was too hard for me personally but hubby was comfy. Nice sheets and duvet. Spa bath in our room was very small we would have preferred the corner baths as seen on the website. Lovely to have complimentary kit Kat and water bottles. Overall I would definitely recommend this place.

Nice and quiet, check in was fast and easy. Breakfast was fantastic and a good variety of foods.

Most of the staff were friendly, but the hotel had a lot of RULES and anyone who was in breach of them was spoken to in a most unfriendly manner by senior staff - junior staff and guests alike. Often the junior staff were shouted at across the room, for everyone to witness, rather than the senior staff member taking the four steps to politely remind them within only their hearing. I witnessed a guest being told they could not split a bill, when one member of the party had already paid, and it became quite a scene. There are rules posted up all over the hotel with really forceful signage 'must wear shoes,' 'no guests after 10pm,' 'close the door so steam doesn't activate the fire alarm.' Access to certain parts of the hotel, like the restaurant area, were restricted and the messages were relayed as 'you can't sit there, you can only sit at the bar' rather than 'that table is booked, can I direct you to the bar area over here?' (The table was not booked. We were three of seven people in the restaurant at 3pm). Portion sizes at the restaurant were wildly variable. $12 chips one night resulted in a huge bowl, enough for three or four people, the next day for the same price, a small take-away cup, roughly $1 per chip, then the day after a larger take-away container in between both sizes. All for $12 (both these latter options are wasteful given we were eating them in the bar/restaurant). Hot water is also very variable. Scalding hot one minute, freezing cold the next.

I was attending a function at the hotel so stayed for two nights. I had booked the superior room. Room was excellent with no complaints and had a superb view over the Swan River. The function was well catered for. On the last night I dined in the in-house restaurant. The meal was very good. I would certainly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again when in Perth.

A bit disappointed experience. There is a graffiti on the wall in the bathroom, but this seems not to be treated properly. Furniture like sofa and bed is also dusty.

Wonderful pagoda experience it feels like going home to a nice house every time I stay here the staff are really friendly and helpful it has a nice relaxed vibe and clean . The restaurant is wonderful here too especially the 2/3 course special options if you like dining out experience. Pool area good though it’s a bit cold at the moment as it’s winter some hotels have a more heated pool option but location of this hotel and nearby really good restaurants make up for any cold pool . It’s quite at night too unlike some other hotels so must have good sound proofing . Which is important .

We had a very enjoyable stay, fabulous amenities, breakfast was really good, plentiful and lots of choice. My only disappointment was after we checked out an hour later I realised I left a personal belongings in the room. I called the hotel and receptionist told me I had to wait until 3pm to get it back. I drove back to the hotel and said surely someone can enter the room and bring it down to me, it will take less than 2 minutes. I waited 30 minutes. The receptionist was being very difficult and claimed she was following protocol. Very disappointing.

The mattress was a bit hard for sleeping

It's a bit of a dated property. Great for a run along the lake, but there's nothing nearby. You need to walk a bit, or drive for cafes and restaurants.

Nice clean place and friendly staff.
