Really enjoy those night here. Room is Clean and comfortable. Staff are nice and helpful. Next to the main street and bus stop. Not far to go to look out. And my room can slightly watch the sunrise and sunset. And can watch the stars clearly at car park

No lift. Have to carry heavy luggage downstairs by yourself.

Very friendly staff, large, clean room and proper HOT water with great pressure.

Very easy to park. Very lovely staff members. Stayed in a room with 2 beds which is comfortable and clean. Funitures are old style, the sofa in our room is very old and worn out, and is covered with bed sheets. And the lights are quite dark like most of the hotels. Sauna downstairs is very comfortable and good but the little Spa is out of order. It looks better in the pictures. In reality, It could be more splendid.

Only stayed one night, our room was spacious and comfortable. Clean room and clean bathroom. Very quiet. Alas no lift, so needed to go up 2 flights of stairs to the first floor, room 304. We also had the continental breakfast which was very satisfying offering cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast and pastries along with tea and coffee. Close to Scenic World and Katoomba main st. Friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay.

Palais Royale is well placed for a stay in the Blue Mountains. Katoomba main street with a good choice of shops and restaurants / cafes is a short walk away ( 3 minutes). The hotel itself is an historic building in the town. It has lots of original features . Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The en suite has a bath / shower in the style of the original fittings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant wasnt open in the evening at our time if stay so we ate out in the town at one of the nearby restaurants. A nice place and comfortable for our stay.

Very well situated hotel. Older hotel with a lot of charm. A little dated.

Sadly the restaurant was not open for dinners. Breakfast was basic but really nice. Michelle on night staff was so helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Overall it was very good. Room 206 needs shower taps fixed as they drip. Also needs more body wash as there was none in the container.

This is a very nice retro hotel. It takes you back in time.
