We had the standard room with ensuite. Room was clean n spacious however the shower really needs updating- there was a fallen tile n other tiles were in the danger of falling off the wall and the shower was really too narrow. I even bumped my head on the wall - just too small. Room is value for money except shower recess. Staff was helpful when we advised that the sheets were unclean. She gave us a freshly laundered set.

Receptionist was appalling blase, interested only in getting payment before even greeting me. The place needs a lot of work, separate toilet, separate shower room with blockout curtain as shower curtain. Slippery tiled floor. Nowhere to hang clothes in room. Sheets were short sheeted due to either poor detail or lack of sheets.
The train line is about 30m from the building, so multiple train horn blasts during the evening/morning. (No warning)
In my opinion ONLY, just give it a big miss.

Gut gelegen für die Weiterfahrt Richtung Red Center. Parkieren sicher im Hof (abgeschlossen) Das Zimmer war sauber, doch man muss das Feeling der häufig vorbeiratternden Züge mögen, die Nachtruhe ist leider nicht gewährleistet.

Unique old building with secure parking.
My room was noisy and cold due to an open window which could not be closed as the glass didn't fit the window frame. The shared kitchen had no tea, milk was frozen in the fridge, the fridge was full of broken glass water bottles the had frozen, the kitchen sink tap was not secure, the shower curtain was dirty , the shower head was broken and would stay on place.

Room was not clean dirty floor. Amenities not great either bathroom down the hall seemed
unhygienic wet towel laying on floor presumed to be bathmat for all. Had one towel left in the room for both of us to shower so unable to use shower. Website did not mention that room was not self contained and that toilet and shower
were down the hall. Did not see any staff as reception closed early and we left early as we couldn’t shower

Backing in to the railway line with regular night trains will be disturbing unless you are a train spotter, the property is old and pretty creed. Good Luck!
