Didn't have a chance to explore nearby as it was raining, limited indoor parking so you have to park outside which might not be an ideal option if you have a lot of luggage. Worth mentioning is the gym at the hotel which is good.

Extremely helpful staff

We loved the sea views from our 8th floor balcony. It needed two comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy the bliss, not hard uncomfortable bar stools and table provided. The room had everything we needed. Laundry on each level is handy along with laundry powder provided in our room. The room was compact but had what we needed. The bed was comfortable. One of the two lifts was undergoing maintenance during our entire five night midweek stay, it was an inconvenience during morning peak when the lift was repeatedly full, we gave up and took the stairs 8 floors down. Room air con maintenance and electrical tag & test also happened during our stay. Maintenance must be done, it was unfortunate they were all happening during our stay. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Shame it didn’t have more parking spots.

Great location and comfortable room.

We enjoyed three nights on a winter break in Golden Beach. The resort was excellent, and the view from our room absolutely stunning. The building itself is a little aged. There was only one elevator working during our visit, causing some long waits for people coming and going. The room was very clean and nicely set out and the reception staff were excellent. Golden Beach township itself is small and friendly, and within walking distance of Caloundra should you need some more action.

Great position overlooking still water and out to ocean. Reception area modern, unlike the tired and dated room. All worked and was adequate but I don’t feel it was worthy of the ‘Ramada’ brand name.

Pool area was lovely and maintained well. There was a lot of construction work going on which conveniently started at 6.30am drills, grinders you name it. Also only one elevator as it was being maintained can't understand why it was taking so long. Even the owners were very dismayed by the whole situation. Didn't know that this Resort also did Time hare even thoght they no longer call it that, when I attended without my husband they wouldn't allow it and tried to reschedule but Isaid no we had other things happening. Then the amount of people complaining about th parking situation was unbelieveable especially the Owners and Ican undertsand why they live there yet they do not have allocated parking, if you leave to go somewhere it's pot luck you might just get a car space. The staff were really nice Jacob and Maria and a few others whose names I didn't get, sorry All in all Idon't think I will be staying there again, there appears to be a lot of others that seem to be better in the vicinity. On the plus side they were convenient to the shops and restaurants in the area and definately had an ocean view.

Perfect location, perfect views, great pool area, comfy bed. I find it hard to explain cause when you stay I stayed at the Ramada the rooms are average. But in saying that we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The downers were not enough parking had to park on the street. And the lift service is terrible

As units are individually owned some apartments are better than others .and better equipped also re kitchen amenities. Have returned to Ramada numerous times over the past 5 or 6 years. Love the 9th floor overlooking Bribie passage. The Thai restaurant, The Copper Spoon has tasty meals moderately priced… but ask for the lunchtime menu at lunch.. much more economical. Lovely walk to Caloundra CBD and many local walkers are very friendly. Will certainly return within 6 months. We LOVE it!! Also self service laundry facilities on numerous floors.

There’s no room service or house keeping. Reception leaves at 8pm but there’s one ground keeper that stays to facilitate if you get locked out. The recreation room is dated and you have to clean your room before leaving (throw trash and stack dishwasher). Otherwise the view is outstanding from level 7 and the pool is great!

Great stay all round. Clean and friendly staff, lots going on with new lifts , building wash etc always improving.

Great views and near to the shops. Pleasant staff. Parking is definitely an issue but you can’t make it bigger so first in best dressed. There is additional parking offered on check in.

We had an amazing ,we have stayed at Golden Beach quite a few times and have found it to be very welcoming from the time you enter reception, the staff are very friendly and helpful, when entering the apartment the cleanliness is noticeable and you straight away feel very comfortable and relaxed, and from this moment you just get that relaxing feeling

Great location

Limited parking in underground lot but overflow parking isn’t bad once you find it, they also had only one working elevator which made for sardine full elevators and waiting lines. Not sure if this is an ongoing issue but painful.
