Overall great experience, really can't complain. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly. Only wish the tables outdoors were wiped down or had a hand brush handy to wipe the tree bits off.

The YHA in Alice Springs is perfectly located and a charming place to stay that ouzes character. I'm 50 years old and stayed there with my wife. It was spotlessly clean and absolutely ideal for a few nights before heading over to Ayers Rock. The staff were amazing

Clearly room had not been cleaned properly or in a long time as there was dust all over the fan and in corners. The blinds felt dirty. There was another person's hair on my bed when I arrived (I was the first person in the room so was not another guest) I had a late check in which I did appreciate the clear instructions how to get in, however there was no instructions on where to find sheets for the bed. Luckily I was able to find them on my own.

Excellent value for money, great security, friendly staff and clean well kept facilities ie: laundry and toilets/showers cleaned daily! Kitchen at times was untidy however this was due to patrons not the staff, room was comfortable, clean and in great condition. Overall very impressed with the complex

Excellent location for tourists. At night, can be very noisy for awhile.

Pleasantly surprised as it’s been a long time since I’ve stayed in a YHA. Facilities where fine a few more pointers as to what to do would have been helpful. However, the staff were very helpful when asked.

It was a nice place for a hostel

I liked the convenience of the property and it's closeness to the city and shopping, the guests that were there were also lovely and friendly. The negative side to the property was you were having to deal heavily with the locals and criminal behaviour going on in the area.

Great location to meet your needs: supermarkets, transportation, eateries, pubs, shopping, and airport on an overnight stay!
