Hosts are warm and Delicious breakfast

The colonial farm house itself is a gem. The rooms were nicely decorated. The friendly hosts Gail & Nigel, their pet sheep Lily (who let me pet her) and the chickens, added to our special experience. It was a slightly longer than expected drive to Freycinet National Park, but manageable and you might like to stop by the vineyards on the way which adds to the experience.

This is an old style hotel house and hotel owner is very nice and helpful. Room is clear and delicious breakfast provided.

The check-in time is inflexible, if you cannot arrive before 9pm, they will not hold the room for you no matter what reasons made you late. Don't forget that you are already full pay for the room. The room is old and lacked maintainence, the wardrobe is dirty and can't be used. Most scary happening is that there are worms continuelly climb out to the rug from holes, cracks and toilet. My roomate is so scared and can't fell asleep till 3am. The host is a couple but I haven't seen the male host at the end.The female one tried pretend to be nice. The garden is smelly as they have ducks as pet. The only good things is that the breakfast taste good. Swansea is far from bicheon (40 mins drive in high speed), if you go to see penguin, definitely stay at bicheon, not swansea.

Charming B&B in bucolic setting with friendly hosts and delicious home made breakfast. Convenient to wineries and Freycinet national park. Swansea a short drive but limited restaurant options there. No AC but rarely a problem in Tasmania. Book the spacious Garden room with beautiful wood carved furniture.

Owners were really helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast was excellent.

On arrival we were pleasantly surprised with our accommodation. We experienced a beautiful period home and our room was cosy & clean.

Es gibt sehr gutes frisches Frühstück, nicht nur das sonst so häufige Continental Breakfast. Haus und Gartenanlage mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Hosts sehr zuvorkommend, sind bemüht den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Ihr Motto ist: Come as strangers, leave as friends.

We stayed at Redcliffe House while traveling down the east coast of Tasmania. It is a cute BnB in a very convenient location close to Swansea and Freycinet National Park. Gayle and Nigel are extremely friendly and accommodating hosts. Highly recommend!
