We had a fabulous time at The Regal Port Douglas. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and had everything you needed in it. Definitely come back again .

Nice pool

We enjoyed it stay at the Regal. The grill was great, the room had nice amenities tho sharper knives would be great. The Regal is nicely located in all directions. Thanks for the nice stay. Really loved Port Douglas and wished we had more time there. Parking was great and the hot tub looked kind of dirty

The site was on the main street walking distance to all areas and nice and quiet. Managers were very helpful. A good place to stay.

Had a great stay. In an ideal world it would have been better to have the toilet in a separate room, given the generous size of the rooms, but a minor point really. Would stay here again without hesitation

Good proximity to 4 mile beach and the centre of town. Room was spacious and comfortable. Nice pool and outdoor facilities as well. Team were very friendly and nice!

Spacious room with great outdoor area and access to walkable dining and shopping areas. Only drawback was we were on the 3rd floor and had a lot of luggage and they did not have an elevator. Otherwise, everything was great.

1 bedroom jacuzzi room was great. Close to all Macrossan street activities and close walk to wharf. Locked car park at night gave peace of mind. Very relaxing stay and hard to fault!

Great parking under unit in garage that is gated at night. No lift so a lot of stairs etc so if have mobility issues might be an issue. Pool area nice but small area not busy this time of year. Has library you can swop books great idea. Older building but spacious and comfortable. Just around corner to Main Street with shops and restaurants etc. Good value for money would stay again for location and parking.

Great room. Spacious and clean with a jacuzzi on the balcony. Right in the centre of town yet still quiet. Walking distance to everything. I’d stay here again

This one was a toss up for me. Amazing location, walkable to shops and restaurants as well as the beach and marina. The balcony with the hot tub and covered table area outside was very nice to have. However, you have to consider the cons: no elevator, no dishwasher, very noisy when sitting outside due to the 3 story waterfall on all day. The inside space was limited, and having doors that were louvred meant you could hear everything in the bathroom and that light came through as soon as the sun came up in the morning.

Friendly staff

The Regal was nicely located just off Macrossan St. Our studio apartment was smallish but had a massive verandah area where put our cases as the space inside was limited. Whilst there were many positives, the negative was that we on the second floor, 3 floors up from the garage. There was no elevator so it was a struggle to lug our bags up. I was told that because of height restrictions in Port Douglas, very few places have lifts so it was a pity our room was on the top storey. Otherwise we had a great time

Perfect property for enjoying Port Douglas without a car.

The property is more like an apartment than a hotel. The rooms are not serviced daily, you do your own dishes, you put out the garbage, if you need extra toilet paper you have to buy it yourself, there is no lift. The bathroom is huge, with a shower over the spa bath that sends water everywhere. However, the staff are friendly and helpful.

Property was very well maintain and staff was friendly.

Easy access for Macroson St and plenty of free parking

Great location. Spa/shower is bit high, need to be careful when getting in and out.
