Very friendly check in. Nice home made cookies and fresh milk. Clean and well appointed room. Motel within east walking distance to town and beach. We loved the key ring with torch - so handy.

Pool had clutter and pipes round it. Chairs tired. Jacuzzi on a lean to which was full of stuff, obviously not been used for done while. Room nice though, friendly owners

Lovely staff, amazing place

Nice staff, homely touches in the room & fantastic water pressure in the shower. Some aspects of the room in need of repair or upgrade, but perfectly adequate for our needs.

Lovely quiet location. Not the most comfortable bed but was okay for one night couldn’t have slept in for more than one night. Staff were lovely and very helpful recommending places to visit Loved the baked cookie and coffee machine was a lovely bonus.

The hotel is located in an excellent area, with the water, restaurants and shops close by. Parking was right outside our door. The reception staff was super friendly. The room was spacious and although we didn't use it, there was a kitchen that was fully usable.

Spacious room well appointed and very clean. Excellent service to guests from the owner who goes well beyond what you come to expect. Would recommend the Sandbar to anyone.

A warm welcome and with home made biscuits! Clean and comfortable room with parking outside your room. A pleasant stroll alongside the water to main shops and restaurants.

Clean spacious room with parking convenient at front of room . Very friendly and accommodating staff who went the extra mile with the homemade baked cookies . Would definitely stay again and recommend. The only thing was the tv had no signal but that’s not sandbars fault .

Easy stroll to the main shopping area on the Esplanade, and 10-15 minutes walk to the footbridge and beach. Staff were helpful and the room was clean and well-presented. Parked right in front of the door to the room. Would stay here again.

Very disappointed with the motel. Stayed here two years ago. Lovely couple made us so welcome BUT it has now changed hands. The room was ok ish. Bed clean. Needed a good vacuum. Decor old and out of date. No milk supplied or tea towel and wettex. Outside of the property was run down and messy. Gutters full of grass and lawn over grown. If we hadn’t paid we would not have stopped. We were the only guests. Don’t bother booking here.
