The staffs are very friendly ,and the location is good.

Sérieusement c'est le pire hotel en Backpacker où j'ai pu aller niveau propreté... On a eu des cafards dans la chambre, on avant rarement du papier toilettes, la cuisine etait dans un état épouvantable et je ne parle pas de la salle de bain du 2e étage...

DO NOT stay in this place. ㅈ You will experience very warm welcoming aussie hospitality?!?!? from the managing one called Jackie. One night a boy stayed underneath my bed brought a girl in from the street, shared the bed, and woke me up in the middle of the night. In the morning of my check out day, I told her about it. IT'S NOT A CRIME' that one said, and asked me to leave the premises immediately. I complained about her irresponsible response and behavior, then this idiot called police and kicked me out. DO NOT jeopardise your safety over a few AUS dollars. 절대 이곳에서 숙박하지 마세요!

Negatives: The bathroom was very dirty. There was beard hair in the sink for days and the water wouldn't drain away. Also tissue all over the floor. There is no lift access to the top floors. Positives: cheap price. Free cereal or toast for breakfast. Friendly staff.

It has been 3 days since i left, no deposit for my key has been returned.

Good staff and overall nice friendly environment. Lots of new friends.

The Secret Garden Backpackers is found in a convenient location. A short walk from Sydney Central Railway Station. Parks, a council pool and Redfern Oval are close. A stroll along Cleveland St brings you to the local Coles Shopping Centre. There is also a wide range of restaurants to be explored along the street. Enjoy your stay in the area not far from the CBD

Friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable to stay for a couple of nights but would struggle staying long term.

Der var ingen parkering, selvom at der bliver reklameret med det.. Det er et faldefærdigt hostel, men man kan leve med det. Mange af de helt unge backpacker-gæster var sindssygt uhøflige og havde ingen form for respekt for andre mennesker...

Love it here, second time I have stayed and I wish it was longer! So clean, so welcoming, so friendly! Great location, comfy beds, kitchens and bathrooms are great especially the one by room 2. Will stay again!

It's quite clean and has all the stuff you need plus a nice garden which is also the dining area. Less than 10 min walk to Central Station or Surry Hills. Only minus for me was that the toilets were far away from our room. Otherwise no complaints!

The place looked nothing like its pictures. The rooms were never cleaned, they allowed noise to all hours which made sleeping difficult and had people sleeping in communal areas (tv room) that we’re not guests of the hotel. There are also a lack of bathroom facilities and inconvenienced by one guest breaking the sink in the downstairs bathroom which left only 2 bathrooms in operation, and lob waits to use facilities. Very disappointing stay, would never recommend anyone stay there.

Really enjoyed my stay here, it was comfortable, lovely and clean and it felt very safe. Free breakfast, and lockers in the room were a real bonus! I will be back!
