Old property located within The Shorty Hotel grounds. Very clean ensuite room with good tea/coffee facilities, fridge. Would recommend.

Room was clean. Early check in provided. Dean, Hannah and Darcy all provided excellent service. Thank you.

We like the big and quiet fridge ,wifi slow but adequate for one night ,convenient to join the M1 via the link road towards Sydney and also two cheap petrol station right across the street to fill up your car.

Negatives:- The room smelt of its last male occupant. The fridge had not been cleaned out. The carpet was wet in the room by the fridge. The curtains were broken and had come off the tracks. The hand basin was cracked and dirty. Limited channels on the tv. The main womens bathroom was dated, water leaked all over the floor when previously used and shower stall not cleaned at all. Communal kitchen had no plates or cutlery. The positives:- the bed was a good quality and comfortable, close proximity to the restaurant and bar, and plenty of onsite parking. Relatively quiet at night. Very budget friendly and slightly better than staying in a dorm room at a backpackers. Might be my age but expected a bit more comfort overall.

Rooms & bathrooms could do with an update but stay very comfortable for a bloke.

Clean and tidy, no frills or complaints whatsoever.

Yes ; have been here nearly 3 months ! Booked & PREPAID 02/11 to 30/11. Hopefully, will book well into the new year, if it is possible.

Room has good air con & ALWAYS cleaned by the reliable staff on a regular basis.

Shorty Hotel is a friendly place, accommodation is clean and adequate. It was a little hard getting to rooms as we had to negotiate stairs. Both of us have disabilities I could not recommend this hotel for people who have mobility challenges.

Ongoing stay ; safety paramount.....

Stay here is "ongoing".A young girl gave me mail delivery on monday, so important & thank you so much. Still getting over, being SMASHED in the face in Islington not long ago.... Maitland Road-totally UNPROVOKED, with a KNUCKLE breaker.

Thankfully, the bed comfort makes a HUGE impact on issues with shoulders & neck areas. Food options are good in the region.

Food options are good & bed is comfortable. The accomm here, is way cleaner than MANY others in Hamilton, Islington, Mayfield & Newcastle Beach.Also much SAFER..... Was recently hit by a cowards punch, in a bus shelter, waiting for a bus in Islington.

The room had a very strong bleach smell and the smell in the hall way wasn’t very pleasant. The room was ok and bathroom was clean

Was pretty good, got what I paid for. Everything was as expected for the price and I have no complaints.
