Good motel! Rooms are tidy and beddings are clean too

The experience is exactly what you would expect from a motel, but the fact that the reception closes at 8pm can be an issue for late comers

Our stay at Sky Rider exceeded our expectations. Not only was it affordable but the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Our accommodation was roomy and the bed very comfortable.It was a bit of a walk into town and to the railway station, about 25mins which we didn't mind. So much to see and do in the area. Loved our stay.

Was easy to get to for all the attractions in the area

A little far from downtown Katoomba by foot because their is nothing to eat nearby. But no problem with a car ! Owners very friendly and helpful.

A convenient distance from main road away from noise trucks etc.room very clean and well heated and beds very comfortable .will always use this facility when passing through Katoomba. Thank you

This property is really badly maintained and superficially cleaned . Not only did the bathroom tiles need a good scrub but the shower floor had broken tiles. The basin was cracked and the interior needs a good paint especially around the front door. Room service was terrible. They sort of made the bed, didn't change the towels, empty the bin or wipe down the bathroom. Overall it felt really grotty and I'd classify it as cheap and nasty. I will never stay there again and wouldn't recommend it under any circumstances.

It was very nice to arrive with the heater already on as it was foggy and raining and less than 10° on arrival. Electric blanket was also turned on one side of the bed which was a bonus just to have an electric blanket so thank you.

Close to lots of blue mountain attractions, clean, warm and comfortable.

Its on the more affordable end of accomodation but was clean and comfy - all we would expect. Friendly reception.

The spot of this property is very convenient and close to all restaurants and other attractions. Value for money and very good clean room with nice and comfortable beds. Also very quiet area.

I was pleasantly surprised by this economical short stay. Toasty warm with heating and electric blankets. Clean with comfortable beds. Welcoming staff and convenient location to Katoomba.

Unfortunately the TV didn't work, I arrived late so couldn't let them know until the morning. They put the heater on for me so the room was nice and warm when I arrived,
