Clean and comfy. Our room was upgraded which is always appreciated. The bed was really comfortable too. Host was very responsive to queries. Would happily stay again.

Bed was goed, gratis parkeren op eigen terrein. Algehele indruk matig, badkamer zeer matig, kon deur niet afsluiten van badkamer en het afsluiten van het appartement liet ook te wensen over. Water had een vreemde geur wat ook in handdoeken te ruiken was mogelijk door mineraal rijk water in de omgeving. Ik zou er geen tweede keer voor deze accommodatie kiezen.

We didn;t get a chance to use all the property's facilites such as the outdoor dining and cooking areas. Loved the night lites. The shower was small and floor very slippery which was difficult and shower head way to close to wall which was a shame. The toilet bowl was not fixed to the floor which gave us a fright when reaching for the toilet paper.

Nice stay

Room was quite comfortable. Got a text to welcome us which was nice but it offered us breakfast and apparently we were never going to get breakfast.

The place was poorly presented, the common area was locked up, it had no door between the bedrooms, no extractor fan in the internal bathroom, no safety devices such as smoke detector. I don't think it would pass an inspection. One sink served as hand washing from the toilet and washing dishes, and the water was lukewarm. There was nowhere to sit, the bedrooms were too small. Unable to close one of the blinds. In all, it was rubbish. We had booked two nights but found somewhere else to stay for the second night. The photos online were not deceptive of the actual accommodation. It is well known around Lightning Ridge for its poor presentation.

Shaun was great help after we had a car accident

We were placed in a self contained unit which was very nice. Decor was bright and cheerful, bed was comfy and there was a washing machine and dryer which was great after a week on the road. The reverse cycle heating wasn’t working very well so we cleaned the filters and it then worked perfectly- they were completely blocked up. Small kitchen was sparsely equipped- it could do with a few more basic things like a chopping board and a microwave dish. Would definitely recommend the place though.

Shaun was very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay at Sonja's B&B. He made us a beautiful breakfast!

Very quaint property. A warm welcome. The bathroom could do with a little cleaning, A step up into the shower, perhaps a handle would be a great idea.

Good checkin communication prior to our arrival. Very comfortable 3 rooms included bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette/dining. Off road parking on the property was good although a little cramped for our large landcruiser. Would stay again.
