南十字星酒店

酒店离机场很近，但没有直达的巴士或火车。无机场接送车，如果自己没车就只能打出租车，单程20多刀。 酒店很小，房间不多，只有一层，但要上一层楼才可以到达，没有电梯。提行李有点费劲。 房间比较大很新，里面的设施看起来很新，很干净，但东西比较少，没有一个椅子，没有电吹风。 前台接待是在一个bottle shop里，工作人员上班时间好象是早上10点到晚上10点，如果你要在此外的时间入住时，需要提前预约好。如果在非上班时间退房，就把房卡放在房间或大门口的邮箱里就行了。 感觉如果没太高要求的话，住一晚还是可以的，毕竞价格便宜。

Well worth it

The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Everything we needed for a short stay was provided like iron and board, hairdryer, coffee/, bottled water, soaps and lotions! Being able to have dinner was a huge plus, the food was good and the staff efficient and friendly! All in all it was a good stay.

I really enjoyed staying here and would stay again. A little quaint, accommodation over a pub, but nice and clean and generous sized room. Staff were most obliging when asked for snything and room tidied whenever i asked. Public transport (bus) across the road so it was only 20 mins from CBD. For a 3 star rating it was better than many others i had stayed in. Did not use restaurant, so cant comment on that, but what i saw some people eating, it looked pretty good. Nice clean hotel

Check in person was very unhelpful. In the morning we had to receive assistance from hotel cleaning staff, one of whom very nicely used his own cell phone to phone a taxi for us. No hotel management is on duty at night or early morning. Ridiculous.

No towels, air con on knowing we were checking would have been nice. Really hot day.Was like walking into an oven. A little reminder no breakfast available, but a down the road recommendation could be nice or a pod machine and microwave in room maybe The pubs beautiful.

Excellent accommodation in St Peters with ample parking. The pub has an excellent range of food.

This place was just awesome, large room and despite being outside major arterial routes, you heard absolutely no traffic noise. Bed was comfortable and sleep was great. The only thing to nit-pick was that the TV on the wall wasn't in line with our bed and was in a weird spot, also the shower overflowed into the bathroom (partially my fault for not noticing that the head was pointed at the wall, which ricocheted the water off and propelled it into the corner of the shower, which overflowed into the bathroom as the small rim wasn't high enough to contain 1/2 in of water. Apart from that, everything else was great! There was ample parking and delicious meals available at the restaurant. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect for what I am after.

Please be aware this "hotel" is actually rooms above a bar / terrace restaurant and above a bottle shop / liquor store. It is also very near the airport and within the exit / arrival flight path so you can hear flights regularly. We stayed in the accomodation. The accomodation itself was great in terms of cleanliness, clearly appeared refurbished had AC and great walk-in shower. Whilst the room quality was pleasant, the location for the rooms is a big issue. The hotel is on the corner of a main road serving the airport and various industrial businesses. Unfortunately, the rooms look out onto the first floor terrace bar / restaurant, and the windows do nothing for noise damping and through the split AC unit. This was really difficult on weekends as the terrace is effectively a loud music night and this went on until 11pm. However, we were pleased that the noise did stop at this point, respecting guests, but I'm not totally convinced this would always be the case, especially in busy months / seasons. We did hear some *adult activities* - the walls really are thin. I don't recommend bringing a family here but for mature adults / travellers it was fairly reasonable on a budget if you need a few nights and a comfortable bed (just bring some earplugs). Southern Cross, maybe invest in some new windows / sound proofing to mitigate the outside sound issue - would make a big difference.

It met my requirements for access to facilities close by, and with an excellent dining room and bar, I did not have to go in search of dinner. Southern Cross completing met and indeed exceeded my expectations.
