Would highly recommend. As the bedroom is gorgeous, The furniture and the decorations so to speak were very high quality and beautiful.

This was an amazing B&B and equal to the best we have stayed in around the world. The owners are delightful and complement each other. I would definitely stay here again.

The ocean was visible from the room as was the Spirit of Tasmania when it docked. The staff was very helpful and friendly and breakfast was delicious. The room was beautiful with Victorian period furniture and was exactly what I had hoped for. Looks like I've found a new home whenever I'm in Devonport.

Staying at The Grand on MacFie allows immersing yourself in exceptional comfort for a reasonable price. When return to Devonport, will stay in The Grand as it was the high point of our lodging during our trip to Tasmania.
Breakfasts are a delight, a five-star dining experience.
It is convenient to the ferry terminal and a short walk to shopping and restaurants. Cradle Mountain and Narawntapu National Park are easily visited on a day trip.

The facilities were poorly maintained and it lacked hospitality. Many rules, but hardly any service or communication. The balcony‘s seating area was in an intolerable state, also there was a lot of dust everywhere. Considering the rate, Breakfast was not more than acceptable. In general, it is a great house with great potential, which should be better managed, but for that we feel that more staff would be needed. Very comfortable beds!
