It's in a very good location, not very busy but not quiet. Very close to the Yarra River, there are even rooms with the Yarra River view. The room is clean, cozy, comfortable. The breakfast menu is prodigious.

Rob and I are tremendously thankful to the Langham Melbourne team for making us feel so special and welcome.
From the moment we checked in to when we checked out, the service we received was magnificent.
Transfers were seamless, the room was stunning and very clean The hotel is just beautiful. You really have something special and the service is simply the best we have experienced, anywhere.
Special mention to the wonderful team in the lounge Meg, Alvio, Kina, Ludo, Christian and Al. They are truly remarkable at their jobs and we are so thankful for the care they took of us and making Rob's 60th Birthday one to remember. Anything we needed was taken care of, including a phone charger as we had left ours at home.
The team in the bar on the Monday night were fabulous. It was lovely to connect, have a laugh and we really enjoyed our time there. Cocktails were consistently delicious.
The team at Melbas were outstanding and it was lovely to be welcomed so warmly each morning. I love chatting to the Chefs and the whole team have created an amazing product. Best breakfast we have ever experienced and great coffee!
The lovely gentleman looking after the guests as they arrived and left always greeted us with a friendly smile and hello. When it rained they provided us with umbrellas. It's the little things that make the difference.
Rob had a lovely massage at the Chuan Spa, special thank you to Angel.

Love the Langham, very convenient with great views of the city. Rooms are looking a bit tired and need a revamp though. The Melba restaurant is great. Our welcome was pretty under whelming though. Could not really hear or understand them, no upgrade was offered even though it was very quiet.

Buffet offered at The Melba was immaculate. Options for Japanese, Seafood, Chinese, Indian, American, and Dessert made it feel like I was never without a good option. Location on the riverfront was perfect. Always a perfect walking distance to local icons such as Hosier Lane or various waterfront restaurants or shopping venues. Bed comfort was great and room service was consistent and timely - never had to call to remind them to tend to dirty linens or restock the in-room bar
