There was only one bathroom and toilet and when most rooms are taken that’s a problem but as it is with most things you get what you pay for it would be better if the description was a little more detailed

Room was basic but clean and good value for money. Great location and quiet. Staff were friendly and professional.

Bed was great Unfortunately the Air Conditioner was not working to make the room warm. The hot water for the shower took a very long time to come through as in the water heater isn’t close to the rooms. Linen was clean

I booked three separate rooms for my team, and while the hotel’s location was a strong point-conveniently accessible-the overall experience was deeply underwhelming and marred by significant issues that made the stay uncomfortable. The cleanliness was a major concern. Mould was visible on the walls, and cockroaches were a persistent problem, crawling on walls and even on guests while sleeping. The shared bathroom situation was highly inconvenient, with only one communal bathroom and shower for seven rooms, leading to long waits and a lack of privacy. To make matters worse, the shower only provided cold water, which was particularly unpleasant in the middle of winter. Guests had to request fresh towels just to maintain basic hygiene, as they weren’t provided regularly. While some team members found the beds adequate and were more tolerant of the basic conditions, the lack of air conditioning and the shared facilities were consistent issues. Despite reaching out to the hotel two days ago to report these issues and seek a resolution, I received no response or remedy, which further contributed to our disappointment. For the price point, the accommodation was subpar, and we strongly recommend avoiding shared accommodations like this one. While the location was a highlight, the poor living environment and lack of basic amenities made this a place we wouldn’t return to.

The only thing that stopped me giving a 5 for this stay was that the vroilet was leaking. It was so close and convenient to where i needed ro be, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the only negative thing is that perhaps they don't have enough on as if they were in the front bar they did not always see you waiting in the back bar. Would definitely stay there again.

The rooms were comfortable and well serviced. The water in the bathroom was... nuanced. We went downstairs to the Bistro for dinner both nights of our stay and were pleasantly surprised by the price and quality of the food. The staff were incredibly accommodating when we asked if we could take our unfinished drink (child's soft drink) and meal upstairs to complete it and the complimentary colouring in was a nice distraction.

Good stay, convenient to surrounding areas

One night stay whilst attending concert locally. Fantastic location for NEC; 5 minute walk. Staff helpful on arrival, friendly and attentive. Room small, but absolutely fine for a one night stay. Unfortunately, no hot water upon waking and unable to rectify as I left early and had a train to catch. Some cockroaches seen at check-in to room and at other points during the stay. Bistro downstairs for ease. Stayed on a Sunday, no noise from pub.

The staff were lovely! Very welcoming, especially the young lady that checked me in. The room itself was good. The only negatives were just a small hole in the wall behind the door, and the blind was missing a part, but still worked perfectly fine. I'm easy to please though :)

Convenient

Only issue was shared bathroom. But it’s super safe and very quiet.

Perfect location for the train station, not far from some shops. For budget hotel condition was ok, was not sure my balcony door was completely secure but it was a good room
