Great location, friendly staff and great breafast

Great staff

I absolutely loved this hotel. It was the end of spring when I stayed so the village was quiet. The room is cosy and clean. The communal lounge with fire place was a highlight. Staff were extremely friendly. My only complaint…the walls are paper thin. I could hear a males feel voice and could almost make out the words in the room next to me. If you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you.

Snowy Mountain view from our room and very close access to many skiing and dining options. Everything within easy grasp and great staff, very welcoming crew and accommodating. Would not hesitate to stay here again. We were here at end of season so if anyone was keen for a central stay in peak times get in early.

Great location, ski storage and parking included which is great. Hotel little dated and rooms could be bigger.

Great location

The room was small, and there was no hot water in the shower. At check-in, we were advised to check it the fine dining at the hot despite the restaurant was closed.

Better than expected, bed was V very comfortable.

Great location at bottom of the chairlift. Area to store the bikes overnight. Buffet breakfast for $25 for the whole room was also great

Really great atmosphere all around. Very helpful and courteous staff.

Great place to stay

The property is really showing it's age. What might have been "chalet charm" is now quite tired and noisy. The room was clean and comfortable, but really in need of an upgrade. And be careful of your timing for visiting Thredbo. Almost all the restaurants were closed when we were there. And what was open was quite expensive. There's a bit of a "Thredbo Tax" in general which was disappointing. And don't get me started on the petrol station charging $3.00 per litre when it was $2.40 just 20 minutes down the road.

Very nice hotel, no lift but able to get help with luggage. Free EV charging included was brilliant. Lovely lounge & close to everything, lucky to get parking right near front door. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Good beds!

I didn't like the stair everywhere

Sadly the TAH has seen better days. The rooms whilst clean are very dated and in summer it was stifling with no air con and no fan! The Hotel used to be the hub of Thredbo once. Buffet breakfast was great with good coffee. At least we had on site parking as it was super busy with all the MTB crowd. The location is excellent to the lifts and general shopping area.
