We really loved this hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is really special. Staff were kind, courteous and professional.

Really a way more dated experience than I was expecting.

Whenever one reviews a hotel, it's a given that the staff are always friendly and helpful, and they definitely were at the Treasury on Collins. However, the hotel was simply not what we expected. The entrance, and I am not sure which one we should have used, is unimpressive to say the least. We used the one via Queen Street and it left us wondering if we were in the right place. We eventually found reception on the mezzanine level and again it was a bit surreal as we looked down onto what looked like a dining and bar area on the level below us. Similarly, the walkway around the atrium (for want of a better word) on our level looked strange and if there hadn't been someone smiling at the reception desk, I would have though we were in the wrong place. I have seen many old bank and office buildings that have been renovated and they have been magnificent, but not this one. The corridor on the sixth floor leading to our room made up for all our concerns because it was really impressive. Why the rest of the building couldn't have been done like that, I will never know? However, on entering the room, more disappointment. Parts of it were ok, but what could only be called the recent renovations were quite unappealing. Think of cheaply veneered and dated timber cupboards, etc. The shower over the bath was completely unacceptable in this day and age and because of that, I cannot understand why the hotel gets such good ratings. As you can see, it just wasn't our scene.

We were told we could have an early check in, but when we arrived the staff didn’t know anything about it, so we had to hang around for two hours waiting for the room to be cleaned.

There are lots of Hotel options in Melbourne, but the Treasury on Collins had so many excellent reviews, we decided to try it. Just stay here, you will not be disappointed. There was a small mix up in our booking, but Treasury on Collins has excellent customer service and took care of it. ALL of the staff are friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, there is something for everyone. Location is excellent, just steps away from shops & restaurants. Our room was beautiful, it was spacious, clean, had a kitchenette, washer/dryer and comfortable beds.

Whisper quiet room. Spotlessly clean. Staff were great. Walking distance to Bourke Street and trams.

What a great find. Beautiful building/rooms in an excellent location. Easy walking distance to the city/Southbank and to explore the interesting laneways/restaurants around Melbourne's CBD. Check-in and welcome was easy/friendly. Special shout-out to Eder for his professionalism and friendly attitude to customers. Highly recomend staying here.

From start to finish we had an outstanding stay. Fabulous staff, wonderful location and amazing room. They went the extra mile for our wedding anniversary wkend. Thx for an amazing stay and making it a memorable one. We hope to be back to Melbourne and staying again soon.

This was an outstanding hotel experience! From the beautiful and well kept hotel rooms to the well stocked, amenity-filled rooms, to the incredible breakfast buffet that we enjoyed every single morning. I can’t speak highly enough of this hotel. The value for the money is outstanding. The staff went out of their way to make every bit of our experience feel personalized and comfortable. The pillow menu, the optional mattress topper, the deluxe Nespresso set…everything about the hotel was fantastic. In addition to that, the hotel itself is gorgeous and so clean. I truly was impressed by how clean every aspect of the hotel was! So, in summary, I wish I could pack this hotel up and take it with me when I travel because it’s the only place I’d ever like to stay again

Excellent mid week stay for a couple of nights. Great friendly service matched by their central location and beautiful details and accommodations. We are repeat visitors and always look forward to returning. Highly recommended.

The Treasury on Collins is truly a pleasure to experience. Where do you get complimentary happy hour drinks and snacks these days? The decor and rooms are beautiful and it’s rare to find a two bedroom suite smack bang in the middle of the city. The service was also great … Harry’s a treasure. We will definitely be back, loved our stay.

Beautiful place to stay at! The exterior and common areas had an old world vibe, and the condo itself was quite comfortable.

I gem of a hotel. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment. We also had breakfast included in the price and it was excellent. Hot dishes, fruit, juice, breads and pastries. Wonderful location. We will be back.

Our apartment was large and comfortable for our family of three. Loved the breakfast, Wine Down, billiard table, popcorn. We made the most of the kitchen and laundry in our room. Great location for exploring Melbourne.
