The only pro is its location, right at the harborfront area with numerous restaurant/ bars nearby. The quality of this hotel is really well below standard. This hotel is always crowded, so if you booked more than 1 room, do not expect the rooms will be nearby or even on the same floor even you have requested in your reservation. The front desk staff will simply tell you they can do nothing as they cannot ask housekeeping the availability/status of the rooms. Some frontdesk staff were really helpful and friendly but not quite a few were rude, unhelpful and with no smile at all. The swimming pool is tiny and unattended, used towel were left everywhere whilst the water was dirty (full of rubbish). The rooms are modern but the beds are really really small and uncomfortable. We could not have a good sleep during the entire stay. Carpels were quite dirty even just had the room cleaned and it was quite common to see finished room service food left on the hotel corridor outside some rooms without anyone to clean them up for the whole day. For the price they charged, I am sure you can easily find somewhere else with better quality to avoid disappointment.

The room was the least attractive part of the whole hotel. Seemed a little run down. The person responding to Expedia messages answered (incorrectly, about laundry services available) after I had already checked out, even though I sent the message before I even checked in

Room was excellent- unfortunately next to an external lift that clanked until midnight then began at 0400hrs. Request a room away from the lift

Good location. Close to many restaurants and CBD. Room is dated but very clean.

Our stay was made difficult as the room had a shower over a bath. My partner who is 82 could not use it. Staff were great and arranged for an accessible shower room but we had to wait for the relocation. The new room was spacious but too many mirrors that confused my patner

Great location, friendly people, room was lovely, bed comfortable. Bathroom needs updating, however was only for one night!

Rooms ok clean

Hotel shows signs if wear but in a Handy location to restaurants and entertainment. Easy access to city centre. Wait for rooms beyond stated check in times, conflicting advice regarding shuttle to wharf area .

Black out curtains full of holes, room above garbage bins and woken by truck. Restaurant and pool bar closed during our stay. Lift out of order at our end of hotel. Checkout staff couldn’t readily provide me with a copy of my room service bill. Will not stay here again.

Great spot on the waterfront

Not a good experience, was supposed to check in at 3 but room wasn't ready, by 3:45 still not ready so they had to do some shuffling and give us a different room, although this was a painfully slow process. Requested a blanket rather than doona and they brought up a wafer thin stained single "blanket" for our king sized bed, eventually came back with some better options however they were also really stained. Ordered room service at 11pm (2 x toasted sandwiches) told about 15min, nearly an hour later after chasing them up a couple of lukewarm sandwiches arrived. Location was great but was really let down by the service.

Had a dreadful time staying here. Booked twin room for two nights. Arrived after late flight to find no twin beds available but wanted to charge us $50 to put a trundle bed in the room for the night and have housekeeping separate the bed into twin beds in the morning. We separated the bed ourselves and went to reception to get sheets. Sheets were wet. In the morning asked at reception to get beds made up properly. They told us housekeeping would attend to the room right away. Got back to room after long day out to find the beds weren't made up. So we slept without a quilt or proper sheets for the second night. A few days after we checked out we were charged for minibar items that we most certainly did not take. Charged us a credit card surcharge even though we didn't pay with credit card. Returned to the hotel after a week in Katherine for one more night. Once again they did not have twin beds ready in our room even though we'd requested this. Staff were rude, officious and slow. Absolutely nothing good to say about our stay here.

Great location but didn’t like the lack of housekeeping and a lower level of cleanliness than we’ve experienced at other hotels. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We booked a room overlooking the pool with two beds we checked in went to the room it had one bed just like last time and did not overlook the pool. Went back to reception they blamed hotel.com for sending wrong info and for the false advertising.
