Hotel Motto is well designed and nicely decorated. I enjoyed the ambience and the room. Its location is also great. Right next to the shopping high street but not overly noisy. There's a U3 entrance right next to the hotel, really easy to access to public transportation.

I was disappointed with the room; while very comfortable, looked a little run down, dusty and found some bugs that looked like silverfish. When I told front desk, she said they were everywhere because of rain. No apology. I stayed at the Leo Grand, 2 weeks before, no bugs. I also would not choose location again. Not convenient for getting around. The rooftop bar was excellent.

Easily the best hotel during our trip across Austria. I wish we could have stayed longer. The location to shopping and public transportation was perfect. We stayed during a heat wave (over 100F) and the hotel was cool the whole time, climate control in the room was great.
The rooms are so nice both in comfort and style. The best bed we had during our trip.
Entrance to the U-Bahn is right around the corner. So many shops and restaurants up and down Mariahilferstrasse. If you need to avoid the heat like we did you can pop down to the underground and go anywhere in Vienna to visit the sights.
Sauna and Steam room available for guests, both were great. Highly recommended for couples travelling.

Snabb och trevlig incheckning. Personalen mycket tillmötesgående. Rummet rent och snyggt och bekvämt . Bra belysning. Frukost A la carte var dyr. Restaurangen hade en bra kvällsmeny som var mer värd kostnaden än frukosten. Bar på takterrass med fantastisk utsikt som är välbesökt. Bokning rekommenderas.

Hotel Motto is a nice Hotel and the staff are friendly. A few days before check-in I was send a list of upgrades by the hotel including a pre-arranged taxi at a preferred price. I selected that service because I have found in past trips cabs from the airport are expensive in Vienna. However, the hotel failed to properly book the cab. One of the reasons I chose Motto was to enjoy its rooftop bar/restaurant, but for 3 of the nights the rooftop was booked for a special events so I never got to see or use it. I was disappointed to experience that Motto guests weren't given priority to access and use hotel amenities.
There are many fine hotels in Vienna to chose from and on my next trip I will give one of the others a try instead of Motto.

Am Anreise Tag sehr sympathische Dame an der Rezeption! Haben nachdem wir unser Gepäck auf Zimmer gebracht haben ein Sekt als Begrüßung bekommen der allerdings schon sehr abgestanden war! Zimmer ist traumhaft eingerichtet mit perfekten Kosmetik Artikeln ausgestattet.
Alles war sehr sauber.
Abreise fand ich ehr speziell und nicht sehr freundlich und professionell ! Wurden nicht mal gefragt wie uns der Aufenthalt gefallen hat. Rechnungen bekommen und das war’s

I originally had another hotel in mind, but the price kept climbing. I checked repeatedly, hoping it would come back down, but eventually I booked Hotel Motto with some hesitation. I had been imagining a more traditional luxury experience—something with a spa where I could really feel pampered.
What a wonderful surprise! The room was absolutely adorable, and the décor was incredibly chic. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, and the personal touches made the experience feel special. Honestly, it felt like I had stepped into a movie and was the main character.
I hadn't traveled to Europe in decades, so I put a lot of pressure on this trip and wanted everything to be perfect (even though I know that's impossible). Hotel Motto exceeded my expectations. Location was convenient, lively and fun. I loved my stay, have absolutely no regrets, and would happily return. I'll definitely be back! Je ne regrette rien .
