We just needed a stopover on our way through Austria, and chose this one mainly due to the price. It said 24 hours reception, so we had no problem in arriving at 1am. We received a call from Maria, asking when we expected to arrive, and then she told us to call her back when we were at the parking lot. Upon arrival we called, and soon after Maria greeted us welcome, and showed us the way to our room, asked us what time we would like breakfast and made sure we were all settled. It felt more like being a visitor in a private home, than a rental. In the morning we sat outside and got the most amazing breakfast with home cooked products, and scrambled eggs that tasted amazing. This is a hidden gem. If we ever need accommodation around that area again, we will definitely come back.

Das war eine sehr aussergewöhnliche Unterkunft und auch die Dame Frau Schwarz-Mach war sehr höflich und zuvor kommend. Diese Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen. Sie liegt sehr beschaulich und ruhig. Gerne würde ich, wenn ich wieder in der Region unterwegs bin, dort übernachten.

Absolutely amazing find! Awesome apartment tucked in a very pleasant part of Austria just one hour from Vienna. The place was cosy, so well equipped, generous and welcoming hosts and superb breakfast. There was also ample and easy parking and an amazing restaurant nearby with fabulous local food. On our four week road trip this was an exceptional experience. Wished we could have stayed longer just to relax and enjoy it more.

Ett litet underbart familjärt hotell. Naturen in på knutarna, hög luft. Lugnt och fridfullt. Härlig frukost. Att bo så här och sen besöka städerna var en perfekt kombination.

Det var første gang vi har prøvet en apartment, og vi blev glædelig overraske, jeg har rejst meget og boet på mange 4 og 5 stjerne hoteler, men Maria Theresia er indbegrebet med service. Vi kom sent men blev budt velkommen som famile medlem, super apartment der mangle ikke noget Udsigte wow, stilleheden var fantastisk, vi var dødtrætte men sad udenfor og drak kaffe til kl. 01 Morgenmaden kunne vi selv bestemme hvornår vi ville spise og der mangle ikke noget. Da vi sagde farvel var det lidt vedemodigt der skal vi tilbage igen for et par dage Lokal befolkning var også super især på den lokale kro kan varmt anbefales

Nagyon jó helyen levő, kellemes szállás. Kedves, segítőkész tulajdonos. Bármivel fordulhattunk hozzá, mindenben segített. Visszamegyünk még. :)

One of the best accommodation ever, unique rooms/apartment, very kind hosts, even breakfast was experience, unbelievable one.

Eine Unterkunft wie man sie nicht oft findet: mit Charme, Fantasie und individuell wie ein 'normales' Hotel nie sein könnte. Sehr schöne Lage am Fuße der Buckligen Welt. Absolute Ruhe, und morgens macht schon vom Bett aus der Blick durch das Dachfenster auf den Himmel und die Baumkronen munter. Die Besitzerin kümmert sich neben ihrer künsterlichen Arbeit selbst um die Gäste und bereitet auch ein variantenreiches Frühstück wie man es in dieser Qualität selten findet.

Das Apartment an sich war sauber und gepflegt. Leider wurden wir von der Inhaberin über den Tisch gezogen, da die scheinbar mit ihren Buchungen überfordert ist. Gebucht war ein Apartment mit 2 Zimmern für 3 Personen - Kostenpunkt 108€. Als wir telefonisch Rücksprache hielten wegen unserer Ankunftszeit, erfuhren wir, dass wir lediglich das 88€ Apartment mit einem Zimmer bekommen würden und doch bitte upgraden sollen, wenn die dritte Person nicht mit dem Pärchen im Raum schlafen möchte. Dies haben wir getan, sind dann aber doch nur zu zweit angereist. Das günstigere Apartment konnten wir natürlich nicht mehr nehmen, aber das war erst mal egal. Jetzt kommt aber der Hammer - wir haben 108€ vor der Anreise bezahlt (für das 88€ Zimmer) und sollten auf einmal die Differenz auf 150€ nachbezahlen (warum?!). Nach einiger Diskussion wurde uns zumindest das Frühstück für die nicht anwesende Person erlassen (wie freundlich... sie war ja nicht dabei)... wir haben nun also insgesamt 150€ für ein 108€ Apartment gezahlt, weil sich die Inhaberin nicht an die Preise hält, die sie bei Expedia auszeichnet und man kann auch nicht das gebuchte Zimmer erwarten! Hier ist weniger mehr!

These apartment houses (more than one building, but they are next to each other) are in a beautiful area, and well kept. The owners live in one of the houses (which also serves as Reception and where they serve breakfast). The 6 apartments they have are nicely decorated, have style and are well equipped. We usually prefer larger hotels because of the privacy and (weird as it may sound) for the fact that no one "bothers you" in a big hotel, i.e. no one cares what you do. Well, this place was a very welcome departure from that with caring owners who paid attention, talked to us, asked if we were all right, needed anything, but they left as alone to have our space and privacy otherwise. In the morning they made us a fabulous hot breakfast (literally anything we could ask for - it was over the top compared to the usual fare you get in a hotel), on our schedule too (no "breakfast is from 7 to 9:30" here). The owners are very nice, also health and environment friendly, evidenced by the quality food, solar panels everywhere, etc. The wife is a very talented artist so there are beautiful paintings all over the place. We had problems with the internet in the room and they were very helpful. The overall experience was exactly what we looked for and needed on this trip with my girlfriend - friendly, romantic, the exact opposite of the impersonal "large hotel" feeling. If you are looking for a nice, romantic, small town experience in a truly beautiful area, you will love this place.
