Good Stay

The general overall experiance was ok. What I didn't really care for was the fact that I ended up paying an extra fee just to have a friend come up to my room. I paid for the room. Who comes or doesn't shouldn't be an issue. For this reason I ended up checking out early and doubt I will be staying there again.

This hotel was disgusting. It was dirty with stains on the beds and walls, dust and lint all over the floor, and garbage from the previous guest. Despite signs of "no smoking", there were ashtrays in every room, and I had to move rooms twice because of how badly my neighbors were smoking. Every room smelled like cat or wet dog or something. The staff were helpful with giving me a new room, but it was not an enjoyable stay. On the weekend, they have a club with blasting music that stayed on until almost 3 am, shaking the floor and echoing on most floors. I would not recommend staying here. It's not worth the money.

the hotel rated as 5 stars but its not more than 1 star, I arrived at 5 pm to check in and the room yet not ready, I asked for breakfast as they needs more than 30 minutes to make the room ready, but they ignored me, the apartment smells bad, and killed 3 cockroaches in one night.

The hotel is designed to serve its nightclub visitors and not really normal people like myself, the loud music stays all night till 6 am. It is not at all family-friendly or business-friendly, it is designed for teenagers and those who are following their nightlife passion.

A very cheap (Read Seedy) hotel, which serves its purpose, i was surprised they didnt charge by the hour (if you know what i mean)

The hotel is located very close to exhibition road, which is a very good point that can keep you connected to Bahrain main attractions and night clubs. Room was very good for the price paid. I do really recommend for a short visit or weekend trip.

Disappointing. Good airport shuttle service but it needs to be as this hotel is “on the wrong side of the tracks”. The disco until 2am is very annoying and the TV in the room only has a few channels but the picture and sound are poor. WiFi is poor and intermittent, and doesn’t reach the pool area. I assume this is a new hotel trying to get established/ make its mark but it really hasn’t got there yet.

Marco Polo is a Great Hotel at a Great Price, Friendly Knowledgeable Staff and Security. Location is good to. I definitely will do business with them again.

Problem is that they have a nightclub at the top - and not sufficient noise protection for the rooms - even the lower ones ! Did not sleep till after 2am,...when it closed, and then woke at 6am due to work on the buildings next door. But staff are nice, and they have an airport pickup and drop off,.. still, maybe hand out ear plugs, and invest in some noise protection - maybe just upstairs for nightclub so no noise comes out !
