We loved our stay. Shanice, Rhianna and everyone in reception as well as hotel staff were amazing! We enjoyed grilling several meals, and swimming in the pool. The rooms were clean and spacious! The kitchen had all we needed. This was located in a great place to walk and restaurants were close to the hotel. This was a family trip with 5 adults! Thank you for helping us to make great memories!

This hotel had everything I needed. Convenient location. Walking distance to supermarket, beaches and restaurants. I will definitely go to Monteray on my next visit to Barbados.

Great little hotel, safe, quiet. Beautiful grounds and the staff was always smiling and accommodating. Walking distance to shops, beach and bars/restaurants, grocery stores. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable!!!

The property location was excellent. Very pleased with the cleanlines and overall care of this hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous. We also appreciated the earlier check in. Even though the rooms are dated, they were clean. The location was in walking distance to the St. Lawrence Gap. Taxis were also always available. Would return to this hotel and recommend it too.

The room was spacious and clean. We took advantage of the full kitchen and the balcony with the table and lounge chair. The pool was very nice and well maintained. The room could use some updates. Restaurants and a grocery store were within easy walking distance.

Lovely budget accommodation. Towels changed daily, bed sheets not changed for 8 night stay. Pool good, sunbeds ok but many need to be replaced. Friendly helpful staff.

great location needs minor renovations badly

Booked two one bedroom suites for my family of seven through Expedia. Two days before our trip I received an email from a rep of the hotel saying that one of our rooms had a plumbing issue and would not be available. In compensation they offered us their three bedroom, three bathroom, Almond Tree House accommodation for no extra charge. This wound up being a huge upgrade to our stay. Two people had a suite to themselves and the remaining five of us had a spacious house including a veranda where we could all congregate and relax. Staff was friendly and the area around the hotel was lively and walkable with multiple good dining options. Monteray is a great affordable option for anyone looking to stay in St. Lawrence Gap.

The hotel felt safe and was within easy walking distance from a convenience store and two or three restaurants and cafes.

The Monteray had a very homey feel. All guests were friendly and considerate. Check-in and check-out was easy. Owners were helpful in terms of restaurant recommendations; getting taxis; etc. The big bonus was the pool area, with plenty of chairs; towels; toys for children; and a covered area with BBQ grills. I enjoyed my stay at the Monteray Hotel.

A safe place to stay🙌

Clean and spacious with a nice pool and nice staff. TV didn’t work and walls are paper thin as far as noise goes. Worth it for the price.
