Great breakfast, and clean hotel. Were a few issues with the AC units making the room smell musty but as they had only reopened the day before I arrived, it was understandable, as the hotel had been closed for a few months.
Other than, that it was well appointed and well kept, especially given the price point.
Very cordial and bilingual staff. Definitely went the extra mile during breakfast.
Know that due to Covid, the restaurant/bar on the first floor is no longer in operation. But there are many options around and Uber eats does serve the Hotel. BUT I would recommend hanging outside so your delivery knows where you are.
Other than that and a few design choices in the hotels renovation ( it was recently renovated just before it was forced to close due to Covid ). The biggest being they need to make it so the toilet door either can stay open when not in use or make sure the exhaust fans are working as it was always hot in there. This was due to no way for conditioned air to get in the room and the exhaust fan flow rate was minimal. I solved it by using the trashcan to keep the door propped open.
Also have to warn any larger people, the lift to the floors is a smaller 1-2 person lift and has a limit of 200KG. That was not a problem for me and my luggage but it could affect a few travelers.
Parking is in an underground parking deck a few blocks from the hotel. There is limited parking across the street from the hotel, but you have to pay every 2hr from 0700-1700

This review probably belongs under the Parkhotel (near the station) rather than The Market because they called us up the day before we were due to check in to let us know that they were giving us an upgrade at exactly the same price!
The hotel is incredibly convenient because it is literally one minute outside the Kortrijk station and has a 24-hour front desk, so even if you arrive earlier in the day, you can leave your heavier luggage behind until check-in.
The room we had was fabullous; spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything short of a full kitchenette, so we really could not have asked for more from a short trip.
Given how close one is to the train station, it was also very easy to check out and jump straight back on our train at the end of the stay, so highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kortrijk.

The staff at the hotel were lovely but the rooms are a disaster. They do not have holders for toilet paper or towels in the rooms so the toilet paper is on the floor and any towels after use must be left on the floor.
The meals in the restaurant are expensive and just awful the selection is cheaply made fried premade food that has been made somewhere else and then reheated. Save your money.
The breakfast was laughable and when you order eggs you get 2 fried eggs on a plate with absolutely nothing else. The other breakfast options were again all premade frozen rubbish.
Our room had a major damp issue and we had water and condensation running down the wall beside the bed and pooling on the floor. My husband tripped twice trying to get in and out of bed. The bed sheets on his side were damp.
We are still waiting for a response to our complaint from the owners.

I felt the lighting in the room was terrible, there were no bedside reading lights, there were no bedside nightstands either.
Trying to read a book was such a task as you were getting blinded be the small ceiling spotlights.
For me the only pleasing thing about this hotel was the friendly girl that served breakfast.
One evening I came back to the hotel to find my room door unlocked after the cleaners had been in.
When I was checking out the receptionist was trying to charge me extra for the breakfasts I had.
My price was inclusive of breakfast.
The receptionist didn’t even say goodbye to me after my 4 night stay when I was leaving, maybe she was pissed off because I caught her trying to overcharge me on the breakfasts.
I’ll be going to the Park Hotel on my next visit.

Nice hotel across from the main square. Easy walking from the train station. Friendly helpful staff. Clean quiet rooms. Shower design was dumb leaving water all over the floor. No breakfast but small frig for food and drinks. Great for two nights.

Location is great, just beside the main square and 3 min from the train station.
Room is comfortable but a few weird parts: toilet was separated so washing hands was steps away. Bathroom had only 1 place for hanging towels while having 2 sinks which is of course comfortable if you are with 2. Mini fridge was a nice touch. Closet to hang clothes was spacious but there was no iron. Did not request due to the hassle it meant. Staff very friendly

I came across for the tour of flanders. Very convenient place to stay, less than 5mins walk/cycle to the station in Kortrijk.
They have a secure bike area which, whilst a bit packed, was ideal.
Rooms were clean, although the lack of door to the bathroom could make it a little awkward if you're sharing!

There was very cold on arrival, and the control for the heather was not in the room.
No hot water in the bathroom at all.

The reception area and breakfast café were being refurbished so we had to go to a near by partner hotel for breakfast, would have been nice if we'd be informed of this before arrival.
Toiletries were replenished every day, very wasteful as the bottles of shower gel & shampoo were sufficient for at least two days as was the bar of soap.
Nice rooms, comfy bed but the en-suite areas in our rooms (4 of us x 4 rooms) didn't have doors so rooms were only really suitable as singles despite the double beds.

Nice bed and good customer service, but a few normal things were missing from the bathroom. There was no towel rack to hang/dry/store towels as well as no toilet paper holder, so we left the toilet paper on the ground. It’s a small room with not a lot of space by the sink for toiletries, so it would be nice to have holders/racks for the toilet paper/towels to create more room for our own items in the bathroom.

All you need for a short stay at a good price in the City center of Kortrijk. Parking nearby in public parking at 6 euro overnight. Decent breakfast. Cleaning staff started at 7 in the morning and was noisy so sleep was over on saturday morning since isolation is not brilliant. But they do a good job, rooms are clean. Air conditioning in the rooms was very comfortable. Small details missing like nog Hair dryer and no space to put your soap in the shower. I recommend this hotel, excellent price/quality ratio.

Staff were really nice , location was perfect.
Room was small but ok. It has a window open to stairs! You get into the room from stairs if windows were open. Room was dark and next to elevator! I could hear every single time some one using elevator! Bed was comfy.

Very bare bones. No turn down service. Breakfast was disappointing. It is located in the middle of nowhere. 35E to go to Waregem by tax which is the closet thing to civilization in the area. Otherwise call out to some pizza joint that was disgusting. Upside, I lost weight... Grounds not kept up at all. The room was clean enough and they had English speaking channels but other than that it was just a crash pad.
