Staff was probably the best I’ve ever dealt with so nice and professional

Overall amazing stay, would come again

The hotel itself is gorgeous. We were in room 1356 on the top floor and the suite was huge. It had 3 balconies: 1 in the kitchen, 1 in the living room, and another in the bedroom. Each one had its own little view, and sitting out there at night with the breeze was something we'll never forget. The room was spotless the entire stay thanks to housekeeping coming daily and we didn't have a single issue with it. The food at Alaia deserves a mention too. You get big portions and it's really good. We never left the table hungry.

Fully enjoyed my stay and the ambiance of the hotel and the location.

Staff was unfriendly, security was lax and often missing from entry points. Overcharged several times during stay. Booked a birthday dinner on the beach that was cancelled one hr before reservation. Be aware, you are under close surveillance. Was approached by security for dipping my toe in the pool 3 minutes after close. Dining staff did not know the menu, and could not answer questions about the food or drinks. The plumbing backed on rede up and kitchen sink water didn’t get hot.

I had an incredible stay at Alaia Belize. The customer service was outstanding—every staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making my experience memorable. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, offering the perfect mix of comfort and luxury. I also appreciated the resort’s close proximity to town, which made it easy to enjoy local restaurants, shopping, and the energy of San Pedro while still returning to the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere of the resort. Alaia Belize truly exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ambergris Caye.

Friendly staff

Not what I expected, disappointed what they cost

Our stay at the Alaia Marriott was fantastic. The staff, food, and accommodations were excellent. Shout out to Elvis, Joe, and Captain Fito for truly great service. The excursions were so nice and well organized. The room was always stocked and clean, and all of the bartenders and servers were so friendly. Truly an impressive experience. We will be back!

Great staff…Loved Kent and Edward

On the first night of my stay 8/16, i learned my room was infested with TERMITES (at least 75 visible). A bug crawled on my neck and they were littered throughout the closet (clothes inside). The staff offered to spray because they were at capacity but I requested another room. With the assistance of the maintenance guy I inspected the new room which had the same layout/location (wooden wall attachment) as the termite infested space and unfortunately, I did not feel comfortable sleeping there. I declined the room and slept on the sofa of my friends suite. I was so embarrassed walking the resort in my pajamas. Housekeeping laundered my belongings and I was promised a different room selection for the next day. Due to capacity issues and my stay preference the staff finally put me an upgraded suite on the 18th. At checkout I was issued a refund for $200 which doesn’t even cover the cost of one night. I did not have a room because Alaia failed to ensure my accommodations were up to standard. I should be issued a FULL refund for the two nights I did not have a room. The guests comfort and preference should take precedence when the property is at fault. While it is a lovely resort with zero beach access and kind staff, I feel robbed. I don’t recommend staying here.

100/10 Highly recommend!! Everyone was nice & very helpful, they even made my birthday very special with a surprise birthday cake. Also if you stay you NEED to get a massage! (One of the best massage of my life)

Beautiful Luxury resort! Food, rooms, drinks and service were superb. No complaints about it, I enjoyed every bit of it.
