I stayed at Pur Belize in San Pedro, and it was the perfect getaway! The suite was stylish, spacious, and spotless — everything looked just like the photos. I really appreciated the peaceful setting, modern design, strong A/C, and thoughtful touches throughout the space. One of the best parts was the location — it’s quiet and tucked away but still just a short golf cart ride (about 20–25 minutes) from Secret Beach, which made for the perfect day trip. The drive was easy and scenic, and having a gas-powered cart made getting around effortless. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, offering great local tips and even helping with golf cart rental and directions. If you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful stay in San Pedro with easy access to the beach and town, Pur Belize is a hidden gem. I’d definitely stay here again!

We stayed in Ocelot Room. The 6 foot bath mirror had obstructions on it covering 4 feet. The gutters on the building had a 2 inch gap; directly above our door. Anytime it rained; a waterfall fell directly on our door and doorstep, and on your head if you went in or out. The room was very small. A 2-bed suite was above our room, and we could hear every movement they made. Their plumbing ran through the headboard wall of our room. Heard every toilet flush they make! The room had moldy smell to it, the coffee maker didn’t work, and there wasn’t a microwave oven ( as advertised). The staff provided us with a new coffee pot and microwave oven. The staff were awesome, and over the top helpful! I would never stay at this hotel again. I don’t ever remember writing a review before, but felt people really need to know about this place.

The staff is just beyond amazing, if i could give them 10 stars i would. Very kind, thoughtful, and extremely nice. The rooms had a mini freezer fridge was so nice. Pool and pool bar were the best.

Our stay at Pur was outstanding in every respect. The property is clean and fun. The bar/ swim up bar were a big plus for us, staff and customers were all very friendly and a lot of fun. Prices are going up in San Pedro and the food at the Taco bar was one of the better priced places to get really good food (I recommend the fish burrito). Our room was really nice, easy walking distance (on the beach or street) to the Truck Stop, Rum Dogs and Marbuck's coffee house to name a few.
