We had a fantastic time, very relaxing and comfortable. Marcela is a wonderful host.

Lovely host and staff. Amazing pool. Delicious food. Fun sleeping in tree house with outside shower. Nice to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the wildlife.

Marcela was very accommodating, from offering any meals we wanted there on the property, to setting up excursions, to recommending things to do or places to eat not affiliated with the Green Valley inn. The staff was kind and friendly as well.

This was one of the best parts of our trip. Marcela was AMAZING, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. She arranged excursions for us, made sure we had transportation to the location, introduced us to local food, and so much more!! The location, rooms, and grounds were beautiful and the breakfast and dinners were fantastic as well. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the treehouse and the space was perfect. We cannot say enough about how wonderful The Green Valley Inn is. We will definitely be going back!

The property was beautiful and the hosts were wonderful. If you like staying somewhere unique, small, off the beaten path but convenient, clean and special, I highly recommend Green Valley. The pool and restaurant are excellent here too. It is about halfway between the airport and San Ignacio and is closer to the ATM cave, Belize Zoo, Crystal Cave and Inland Blue Hole NP, than hotels in San Ignacio. Still Xuanantunich is only 25 mins away. We loved it here and hope to visit again.

Excellent!!

Every inch of this place is meticulously maintained - the grounds, the pool, the kitchen. Nice, comfortable beds. Marcela and her team are incredibly sweet and helpful. The food is outstanding. Beautiful meals with produce grown on the property, everything made from scratch including yogurts and juices. This was an all-around outstanding experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the Green Valley Inn. Marcella and her staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The property was very clean and had well maintained. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful property where you will be treated like family. Marcela is a fantastic host!

She was just so sweet and accommodating and I appreciated just being around her and being able to have very deep conversations, it was great to be around nice people who helped me so much whenever I needed I am glad I got to stay there and meet them both because they are just such nice and honest people

Quiet property with a small, family atmosphere. Marcela, our host, was fabulous.

We had such a great stay at Green Valley Inn. The rooms are large, and had all amenities we needed (AC, parking, mini fridge, etc). The best part was how the owner Wayne and his wife, welcomed us in like family! We were treated like gold and learned more about Belizean culture in our short stay at Green Valley Inn than anywhere else we stayed. Will definitely be back!

This place is paradise in the jungle. An amazing, smiling and very helpful owner and her sweet staff make your stay memorable. Breakfast, dinner and drinks are available except Sundays at a very reasonable additional cost. Eat there! The grounds and outdoor showers are jewels. Book this place and look no further. Only about 25 min easy drive into San Ignacio.

Everything was just perfect! Marcela’s and Eva’s cooking was very tasty and very big portions. The place is super clean and the grounds are beautiful. We booked couple of tours through Marcela and were very happy. Eva gave us a ride to Belize City after our stay and even waited for us to do the tour of Belize Zoo. Extremely happy with our time in Green Valley

Our host Marcela was very nice, she also helped with booking tours as well. Eva was awesome too. The bungalow that we stayed in was rustic, neat and clean. It also had an outside shower which was new to us. We appreciated the mini fridge and coffee maker. Lush, green property. Lots of friendly dogs. We had a bungalow near the rear of the property so it was fairly quiet. Fruit or nuts, I think, drop on the roof, so if you’re a light sleeper, you’ll notice this. We ate breakfast and dinner here. The meals were tasty and plentiful. There is a bar and a small market within a 10 minute walk. But we advise either doing a lot of tours that will pick you up, or rent a car to explore on your own, because there’s not much else in walking distance. Overall a pleasant stay.

Marcella and Eva were absolutely amazing during our stay. They recommended great tours (I’d recommend Mario to se Caracol to anyone who loves history!) and set things up for us so it was seamless. Dinners are not included but well worth the price! I loved having homemade meals while traveling. The grounds were kept very clean and so were the rooms. I would absolutely recommend The Green Valley Inn without hesitation!
