Such a beautiful property. We had the ocean view connecting rooms overlooking the lazy river, pool, and ocean. The lazy river was great and the pool was a nice size. It is definitely windy everywhere on the island. There is so much to see and do, but we honestly loved just being at the resort. It was relaxing and a great time.
We had an excellent self catering room overlooking the beach and only once did we eat out which suited us as I am gluten free and little choice in the restaurants. The sea is excellent snorkelling from the hotel beach but make sure you have water shoes as it is mainly rocks.
We had a great stay. My wife, 2 teenage daughters and I stayed in a Villa, which was very convenient as everyone had their own bedroom AND bathroom for a reasonable price. Location was nice. Parking our rental car was never an issue. Pool and lazy river were nice. Beach is great for snorkeling but rocky to get in if you want to just wade in the water. Bring your own hand soap/shampoo/conditioner as there is only one soap dispenser in the shower. Bring your own Nespresso Original pods or buy from the desk at $7 a sleeve which is very reasonable. Nice to have a kitchenette. On site restaurants were yummy. Service is a little slow, but that's not a complaint...we need to slow down on vacation! Scuba Do dive shop was on site and they were very good. Did 5 dives with them including the mandatory orientation dive that Bonaire makes you do which is a great refresher and still a really nice dive as Bari Reef is a top 10 spot to dive. Try to sign up for both shore and boat dives as some dive sites are not accessible by shore. Most people seem to rent a pickup and tanks and go on their own which is not unreasonable as Bonaire is an easy place to dive. Thank you for a nice stay.
