I very nice property with all the amenities we needed for our over-night stop on our way to Namibia. The restaurant was great and offered a good range of menu options

Our stay overall was alright - however when we arrived at 6pm, they didn't have our room ready yet so we had to wait an extra 45 minutes before we could check-in.

Están en obras y hay mucho ruido. Las hanitaciones están genial, limpias y nuevas pero insisto en el ruido. El servicio en wl festaurante es LENTÍSIMO!!!

Personnel sympathique, chambre propre , très bonne nourriture. Bien situé pour couper la route pour aller à Maun.

This huge accommodation is a good place to stop on the long way from Maun to Windhoek. The food was very good and the rooms nicely furnished.

Das Hotel eignet sich gut für eine Zwischenübernachtung. Es finden zur Zeit Bauarbeiten statt, was zu Lärmbelästigung tagsüber führt. Einige der Arbeiter wohnen auch im Hotel und telefonierten während unseres Abendessens die ganze Zeit lautstark am Nebentisch.

Schöne Unterkunft nur das Bad könnte größer sein. Essen im Restaurant hervorragend

Das Chalet mit Poolblick hatte keinen Poolblick, es sei denn man hat die Tür nach aussen geöffent und an den davorliegenden Chaltes vorbei geschaut. Leider wurde auch überhaupt nicht darauf eingegangen. Das Restaurant ist ziemlich laut wenn einige Gäste da sind. Allerdings alles sicherlich guter Standard für Botswana

The Kalahari Arms has had quite a makeover since the last time I stayed here. The staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms (we rented 2) were excellent -- large queen bed, two chairs and a table inside, a table and 4 chairs on the veranda, an excellent work space, large flat screen TV with a decent (but not great) DSTV bouquet, shower and all bathroom fixtures are brand new including a motion sensor light which can startle you at first if you stand still for a moment! The grounds are immaculate, the pool is clean and big, and the restaurant has indoor and patio (under a high thatch roof) seating. The food was excellent too. The one drawback was a dodgy wi-fi system and given how the covid era makes us all work online, I hope they'll upgrade that system soon.

Hotelli hyvällä paikalla keskustassa mm. bussiaseman lähellä. Henkilökunta erittäin avuliaita ja ystävällisiä, vaikka aina ei ollutkaan oikeaa tietoa esim. bussien kulkuajoista. Kaikki tervehtivät kohdatessa. Piha siisti ja hyvin laitettu. Iso uima-allas ja alue oleskeluun erikseen. Ravintolassa hyvä palvelu ja ruoka, samoin aamiainen. Kauniisti koristellut käytävät. Huoneessa jääkaappi ja vedenkeitin, jotka erittäin tervetulleita. Pieniä, mustia muurahaisia huoneessa, ehkä sateen jälkeen? Paljon henkilökuntaa ja ammatillisesti pukeutuneita ja käyttäytyviä.

It was a very nice hotel. The restaurant and bar area is nice.

Da wir nur auf der Durchreise waren ist es ganz ok gewesen. Aber Für mehrere Nächte würde ich das nicht empfehlen. Im Zimmer sehr schwankender wifi Empfang. Eine der Klima Anlagen im Zimmer funktionierte nicht. Die Zimmer sind sehr knapp bemessen (sehr schmaler Durchgang am Bett, kaum Platz um Koffer oder Taschen am Boden abzustellen) aber da es am Ort kaum Alternativen gibt kommt man kaum drum herum.

Had breakfast included in my stay but was charged on my last day for the breakfast which I found disappointing. The manager was not available and I was in a hurry as it was before 7am and I had a 6 hour drive that day. I got the card from the office for the manager and sent a email asking for a refund, I also sent a email to the hotel administration.To this time I have had no reply and no refund.My intent was to find some lions which I did

Ich hatte ein Chalet mit Poolblick gebucht. Erst wurde uns ein Chalet gegeben vor dem noch ein anderes Chalet stand und somit kein Pool zu sehen war, außerdem waren laute Bauarbeiten direkt neben dem Chalet. Nach Rückfrage und längerer Wartezeit wurde uns dann ein anderes angeboten (angeblich das letzte freie). Die Raumaufteilung war für uns 2 Personen nicht so besonders, es gab 2 Schlafzimmer die ziemlich klein waren und ein sehr kleines Bad. Als wir dann Abends die Klimaanlage angemacht haben, dachten wir, wir würden auf der Startbahn eines Flughafens stehen. Die Klimaanlage (draußen an der Außenwand) war fürchterlich laut und die Wände wackelten teilweise wenn sie sich ausschaltete. Letzendlich haben wir dann ohne Klimaanlage geschlafen, da ich ansonsten trotz Ohrstöpsel vor Lärm nicht schlafen konnte. Das Frühstück war sehr sehr gut!

This hotel offers warm, comfortable hospitality and is a good place to stay in Ghanzi. We enjoyed our short stay there.

The restaurant need to get some serious shaking up. Ordered a meal 4 times for dinner...the first 3 option were not available and the waiter did not know that. He came back 3 times to tell us. The final choice was really not nice at all. did not even eat. Otherwise is was ok; but only just!

We stayed at Kalahari Arms both on the way up and back from the Delta and stayed at one of the family chalets. We were able to check in early, which was great when my mom wasn't feeling well. The restaurant on site is very handy and serves giant portions. The room was clean, comfortable and more than adequate for our purposes. The grounds are well kept and everyone was very kind. The pool was drained on both our visits, which wasn't a big deal since it was winter anyway, but would hope that's back in service soon. Will plan to stay here again if we travel from Namibia to the Okavango again.

Schöne Gartenanlage, gutes Restaurant, und gute Lage in Ghansi, aber insgesamt etwas heruntergekommen. Pool war außer Betrieb, Umbauarbeiten im Gange, Badezimmer deutlich renovierungsbedürftig und gemessen an ähnlichen Unterkünften in der Region ist das Kalahari Arms Hotel sehr deutlich überteuert. Zusätzlich war der angebotene Expedia Preis ca 50% höher als das Hotel die Preise vor Ort ausschreibt, so dass dass Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht passt.
