They canceled our reservation literally at the last minute without any notification whatsoever; leaving us stranded at the Maun Airport. Then the manager refused to give us a refund. Both Expedia and I tried to rectify the situation for over an hour while still at the airport all to no avail. This feels like quite a scam! They took a reservation and almost $300 USD. Canceled the reservation without notice and kept the money!!! Expedia said they couldn’t drop the hotel out of their system unless the manager of the property requested it. Not sure if that’s going to happen because it seems they have a good system for getting people to pay for nothing. I would urge no one to ever book lodging at this location!!! This is truly the first negative review I’ve ever given, but I feel very strongly that any and all potential customers should be warned.

clean quiet lodge outside maun. good staff and front desk. room was equipped with a functioning kitchen and good bathroom. taxis are easy to call

Arrived early and were cheerily checked in at once. Lovely room with kitchenette. We thought we were getting a king bed plus sofa bed, but the manageress got the maid to make up 2 singles so we both slept well. Well stocked kitchen: only thing that stopped a 10/10 score was lack of oven (we did not notice this before shopping and ended up googling how to cook pizza without one on our second night there!). Fabulous deep bath. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Not in Maun centre (across the river) so car essential.

Lovely stay. Clean. Big room. Service was excellent. Would definitely stay again when next in Maun. Minimal livestock noise.
