The hostel is very central, very close to public transport. Very clean and cosy. The staff is very friendly. I booked first for 2 weeks, but due to my work I extended at least for another 2 weeks. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. The cleaning team is cleaning the whole day. There's a very nice kitchen and a very nice place to relax in the evening and during the day. The prices are really great. For me this is a Top place to stay.

Good location. Friendly staff. Bathrooms and bedrooms weren’t the cleanest. Toilet stalls are extremely small and the sink area does not have an area to set or hang your things.

Hostel claims to have a 24/7 reception. After standing outside ringing a lot for ages in the early hours of the morning (flight had been delayed, I messaged them) eventually a guest let me in. Reception was locked with a sign saying it opens at 8. I spent my time waiting sat on the stairs, even though I had paid for a bed. When I complained they said they hadn't heard the bell, and although they had got my messaged was told they hadn't noticed it. They said it was a 24/7 reception (the sticker outside says so) but seeing as it's unguarded and locked until 8 I find this hard to believe. To be fair the woman who started at 8 got me in quickly and was helpful, only for the rude man to seek me out to try and argue later. I complained officially through the website I booked this. They contacted the Bla Bla - who did apologise but have "denied" a refund... meaning they want to keep the money I paid for the bed, whilst leaving me locked out until 8am (with an apparent 24/7 reception who doesn't hear the bell and is locked up and empty). If you come to Sofia I'd save yourself the hassle and stay elsewhere.

Rooms were mixed gender which I didn't expect, maybe I should have read better haha. Otherwise about as professional as it can get for a place and price like this. Staff was chatty and accommodating.

There are beautiful guests in the hostel, however there are some creepy male guests. Please please take care, ladies. Sometimes the kitchen is too dirty to use, and sometimes the showers don't have hot water. Depending on your room, noise at night from the street is loud. There is no air conditioner, so summertime will be hot even at night. The staff can be helpful, but it depends who you get. A nice young girl is helpful. There is a boy volunteer with a dog who is nice. Location isn't in the city center but for me this was perfect. 20 minutes walk to wherever you need. But downstairs from the hostel, hostel guests all gather to smoke and be up late so you will probably hear them if your window is facing the street. All in all there were some guests who were asked to leave during my stay for making other guests unsafe. It is not somewhere I would recommend for female solo travelers.

El hotel es regular. Si bien el precio es realmente imbatible, la condición de los cuartos es regular. Pagas por lo que recibes. Colchón y almohada viejo. No tiene aire (avisan) y la ventana da como a un patio donde suele haber gente. El timbre de la puerta se escucha en los cuartos del primer piso, por lo que sugiero tapones. Hay dos heladeras medianas para todo el hostel y una andaba mal. Siempre van a estar repletas así que es un tetris. Hay 3 baños y 3 duchas, relativamente limpios todos, aunque se nota que están todavía armándolos. La ubicación es muy buena, muy cerca de todo. El alquiler de la toalla es de 5€, que luego se devuelve al entregarla. En fin, si queres un poco más de confort (y pagar algo más) quizás no sería esta tu primera opción. Sí queres excelente precio, comodidad relativa y buena ubicación, es aquí.
