This is an exceptional property with absolutely beautiful and quiet grounds, a gorgeous swimming pool, and the friendliest and most hospitable staff that you will find. There are relatively few guests unlike the big chain properties, so you will get individualized attention. They arranged some events like the Apsara dance show and Jeep tour of mountain and waterfall area. These were great. Much nicer to stay here than big chain properties.

We had a really wonderful stay here. A genuine oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap, yet still possible to get to walk (or 3 minute tuk-tuk if you don’t fancy the heat!) to local restaurants etc. staff excellent (very friendly, nothing is too much trouble, but also unobtrusive). And the food at the restaurant is first class.

Absolutely amazing property and staff. A tranquil oasis in Siem Reap where you feel (and sometimes are) like the only people there. They went out of their way to make our kids (10 and 12) feel at home, arranged a child friendly guide and transport for two days of temple tours, and set up an amazing elephant encounter near the Kulen mountains. The house that we stayed in felt luxurious and had every amenity we could want and was perfect for our family of four. They set up a bike with basket, lock and water bottle so I could tour the city on my own. All in all one of the most amazing places I’ve stayed.

WOW!! If you are in Siem Reap, you must stay at Maison Polonka. What a unique experience!! The rooms are amazing including elegantly appointed traditional Cambodian houses. The staff was phenomenal. We were cared for and attended to at every turn. We were greeted with cold towels, cold water and/or hot tea upon each return to the hotel. The rooms included wonderful bath products and an in-room tea set with a wide range of teas and beautiful pottery tea cups. The hotel staff arranged for all our transportation and touring. Each tour and tour guide they booked was unquestionably among the best. The spa and massage services were fantastic. The hotel restaurant had breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner available. We strayed once to a local restaurant and then vowed only to eat at the hotel. The menu (which included local dishes) was extensive and each dish was carefully and expertly prepared. The property, complete with calming swimming pool, and its many palm trees are also exquisitely beautiful and meticulously cared for. In short, this wonderful and welcoming place was so amazing that we truly did not want to leave. Our compromise: we will return!!

Where to start... We've had the good fortune to stay in many of the best hotels around the world and Maison Polanka may possibly be my favourite. It is a true luxury to stay here, not for material reasons, although the whole place is impeccable, but because you feel as though you have been welcomed into a family. The staff are incredible, always smiling, always ready to help. They remember your name, your preferences, your plans for the week, always ready to make your time spent with them as pleasant as possible. Where else greats you on your return with cool mint-scented towels and an interest in your day? Or leaves waterproof coats, maps and bottles of water in the basket of your bicycle without you even having to ask? Everything was taken care of before we even knew we needed it. There are only a few houses (authentic Cambodian raised houses dismantled and reassembled for the hotel) nestled into a meticulously maintained garden full of palms, banana trees and bamboo. Watch out for the frogs on the paths when you come back at night! It's like living in a luxury jungle. The Green Room is wonderful with a huge terrace, you feel like you're floating amongst the trees! Add to this a lovely cool pool and a really top notch restaurant, we stayed for a week and were so incredibly sad to leave! We will 100% be back. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place to stay!

Extraordinaire! Magique! Impossible d'imaginer aller dajns un autre hôtel de Siem Reap. Ce lieux est plus qu'un hôtel, a découvrir absolument.

Petite structure de 5 chambres au coeur d'un sublime jardin, un véritable havre de paix, superbe piscine, bonne table. Le personnel est très souriant et aux petits soins. Allez-y sans hesitation aucune.

Tucked away in the touristy Siem Reip is this elegant oasis. The grounds are an astonishment of tropical plantings perfectly maintained. The service is subtle and impeccable. The food is excellent, better than anything you'll have In the town. Massage there is sublime. Though the level of concentrated tourism of the town is difficult to take Maison Polenka makes the whole experience graceful.
