My experience was not pleasant, and if possible, I would like to request a refund, as I have been feeling unwell after spending two nights at this property. To begin with, the room I was assigned had a noticeable damp smell. I raised this concern with staff, but the alternative room I was shown appeared older and less appealing, so I decided to stay in the original room. The odor was strong enough that I had to spray my perfume around the room just to make it tolerable. Having arrived tired from my trip, I did not inspect the room thoroughly at that time. The following day, I spent most of my time at Turkey Point and returned exhausted. On the morning of checkout, as I was not feeling well, I took a closer look around the room and was shocked to discover spiders, mosquitoes, cobwebs, and what appeared to be spider eggs. I was extremely disappointed by the cleanliness of the room, especially considering that housekeeping serviced it on the second day and still missed these issues entirely. In hindsight, I should have paid more attention from the start. A damp room naturally creates conditions that attract insects and other pests, which appears to have been the case here. I genuinely feel that I deserve a refund. I booked this accommodation through Hotels.com, and one of the main reasons I felt comfortable proceeding with the reservation was that it was a Best Western property. I have stayed at several Best Western hotels in the past and have generally had positive experiences,

I couldn’t get the tv to go to just regular channels. There needs to be an explanation as to how it works so that people like me who are technologically challenged can use it. It also said to get in touch with front desk if any issues but there is nothing on the phone to let you do that so you have to get dressed and actually go to the front desk

Unlike advertised, the breakfast is NOT free unless you stay for two days or longer. Very much missled there.

Rooms are clean and spacious, water supply at taps and shower were excellent. Great restaurant on site. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Staff did not have supplies (toiletries) to help with unplanned stay Tub shower old and shower head clamp stuck up. Unable to push it down to have water fill tub to wash my feet Breakfast not included in price. Bed was comfortable at least and did not find any bed bugs

3rd and last time I’m writing this! Everything good considering old building, difficult to soundproof. Very clean except couch stained, dirty need new. All else good.

When yo have a group renting 15-20 rooms, Best Western should have given the banquet room for a reduced rate for that group. But because they didn’t our group discussed it and probably won’t book the rooms again for the next function.

Very dated and my room had nothing and there was mold.

It was fine. Basic. Room a bit dated. Staff helpful. Restaurant menu very limited for a vegan/vegetarian.

Easy check-in with very helpful staff with information of property amenities. Our room was very clean, the restaurant on site offered a varied menu, served hot and good. Staff was also very pleasant and helpful.

Very nice small town hotel. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Room was large and clean, well appointed. The attached restaurant is independently owned, so no buffet breakfast. However, it was open for all meals and the food was very good and priced right.

The front desk manager was incredibly helpful, thorough and funny 🙂 made a warm welcome for our stay
