Would not recommend because its dirty snd unsanitary and also unsafe

Well it wasn't the Ritz that's for sure but we had a good sleep.. The young man that helped us check in was very kind and friendly.

I have stayed in many similar small town motels. I would say that given the higher price I would have expected more. Full set of sheets, sink that drains, and overall less beaten up. I would look elsewhere in town next time.

It's an older motel attached to a restaurant.My room was very dirty and disorganized.The restaurant staff made an attempt to clean a problem I pointed out but now that I think of it , I should have just cancelled and booked elsewhere.

Surprisingly large suite with 2 rooms. AC works. Ok location. A little hard to find as the sign calls it Sukhdev Restaurant and Inn rather than Espanola Motel. That name isn’t to be found anywhere. I prefer sheets on the bed and had to ask for towels. The rooms were a bit shabby with dirt layer on toilet bowel. I only discovered the lack of toilet paper first thing this morning! Overall could be better maintained. But quiet and a roof over your head. BASIC

No one was there to check in despite the site stating check in was available until 9pm. TV did not work, no wifi, brown water. This motel shouldn’t even be listed as an option

The room was dirty. The bathroom was so small you could hardly close the door. The bed was horrible! A metal bar around the outter edge. The springs were right at the surface. Everything was run on an extention cord. There were no smoke detectors. There was only turn lock on the door. No deadbolt. Stains on the walls. The front desk was in the resturant ajoining. As we checked in he sent another employee to set us up. Thats when he ran the extention cords to start the AC. Fridge and microwave. I walked back to the desk for a 2nd time getting the wifi code and 3 rd time for the remote to make the TV work. If I needed all these why werent they given on check in. We were the only patrons. If i could have cancelled upon seeing the room I certainly would have. Not alot of choices in Espanola after a long drive. Why Hotel.com even allows such a motel on their roster.

Dirty place ... remnants of pets

The property is old and in desperate need of an update. There weren’t enough towels in the room for all of us even though they knew ahead how many were in our party. When we went into the room, I turned the tap on in the bathroom and no hot water came out. I turned the shower on, no hot water. When I asked about it, the man said “oh ya, we have no hot water”! The room was filthy and we left! Found a room elsewhere!

Great staff- i think the motel is going through a ownership transition. Make sure you call first to see if they are in service

Staff were ok, not welcoming. Room was unsafe, with electrical cords all over the place and nowhere to plug the fridge in. The wall heater wasnt working so we had a plug in heater with 27 below weather.

Disgusting no heat in a northern Ontario motel. A single plug in portable heater. No central heat source. Old Disgusting motel only fit to be gutted and rebuilt . I showed her my email reservation but they had no record of me. When I asked about heat, she said at least there was an AC unit. I said oh that’s so useful when it’s -3. I did not take pics, a fancy shower system in a tub with black mold in the caulking and on the floor where it had more moldy on that caulking too. In a bathroom with no heat. It needs a nether inspection to close it down. I think I’ll call the health dept on Monday

For the price they charged, we thought it would be a lot better. the one queen bed squeaked every time we sat on it. Was told not to use heater and microwave at same time as it would blow a fuse.

People hanging out,just outside our door until after midnight, verrry noisy,loud vehicles coming and going....

Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Room was clean with a fridge and microwave. Everything a weary traveler needed

Je remercie beaucoup les deux jeune filles qui s’occupaient de l’établissement. Elle étaient très gentilles, polies, serviables, toujours à l’écoute et souriantes. Le motel n’était pas dans ces plus beaux jours mais pratique et fais l’affaire pour un court séjour. Je recommande le Motel pour ceux qui sont de passage a Espanola.

They didn't take dogs. We had to sleep in the car. It was stinky when you walked in, dirty.
