It was as expected for the price. Good clean and quiet

If you’re looking for a place to stay to do your Global Entry interview, stay in Grand Forks. I’d say our review is based on what we’re used to. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. The room upon first glance was okay, but we had our small dog with us who helped us discover the mess under the beds. Food, trash, socks, and even a shoe.

There was no hot water in the washroom and the heater was on hi all night and loud

We were a little late arriving but we were met at the door and quickly and efficiently checked in. It was nice and quiet.

We, my husband and I and our little dog, make this trip every year to see family in Emerson and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This is an older motel with owners that care. There is quirky things in the room for convenience like power bars and a usb charging station. The bathroom was cleaner then most four star hotels i have stayed in. Its dated but comfortable for a wiery traveler

Wonderful little hotel located a stone's throw from the border. Staff were welcoming and constantly checked to make sure I was comfortable or needing things. They were knowledagble of the area and while my stay was short, a great stay was had

The motel is very clean, the people owning it are very nice and willing to help anyway they can. The town is very small with almost no food choices. The motel is an older and very small motel with tiny rooms but kept up very well. It does have a microwave and small refrigerator. Beds are comfortable and furnace keeps the room warm.

This is a very small, border town motel, which we expected. We expected it to be a very small mom and pop operation. When we got there, at about 10pm, our room was not ready for us. The woman who was working ran out and got the room ready. When it was time to charge my card, she said that the price from the 3rd party was incorrect and she insisted that she would charge me more for the room. When I showed her the entire process of how I got the rate that I got, she said that it was incorrect, even still. She ended up calling the owner of the hotel, who also said the rate was wrong and that they were not willing to take the reservation price. They wanted to charge an extra $25 or so. This continued long enough for me to just cancel my reservation and just continue on down the road to the next town, where I got a great hotel room for the price that this little motel was asking. I was disappointed.

The owner put it best. It’s an old building, and they do what they can. Clean room, modern bathroom, comfortable beds and bedding, and well stocked kitchenette. Perfect for our one night’s stay. Many thanks!
