Great central location, close to bars and restaurants - easy to walk everywhere. Slight musty smell in the room but it was clean and well equipped though small. Communication was easy. Asked if we needed parking but no parking on site - there are a couple of safe 24hour public parking lots nearby though. Convenient for a few days in Toronto

The property failed to provide check in instructions until 3 hours after the posted 4pm check-in and was unable to be contacted during this time, leaving us wondering if we even had a place to stay at all. The property required a deposit outside of Expedia which was to be refunded 7 days after checkout. I inquired after 8 days and received no response or refund, causing a dispute with my card issuer to be opened. 4 of a total 6 elevators were operational. Expect to wait 10 minutes for a car to come with capacity and even longer during peak times. The pull-out couch was broken beyond useable condition causing two of our guests to sleep on the floor. We notified the property immediately and expected a fix by the next night. The property did not respond despite multiple follow ups. Last, this property had a pool and balcony furniture shown in the listing photos. The pool was closed for a lengthy planned renovation and the balcony had no chairs, tables, or other furniture. I do not recommend anyone stay at this property.

Terrible experience. They left 1 set of towels for 2 people. We wrote to them, we called them, they didn't bother to respond. Only a day before we were due to check out they said that " we passed the message to housekeeping". Do not bother. Extremely unwelcoming management company. No customer service. They just collect the money and don't care.

The door of the apartment did not lock. I tried to reach out to owner, but received no response whatsoever. They left 2 phone numbers on a pamphlet in the room. I tried calling and texting both. No answer. I tried contacting them through Expedia. No response. I then spoke to security at the building. Security stated the owner had been previously notified of the issue, but apparently did not resolve it. Security had difficulty reaching owner. When they did finally get them on the phone, the owner asked to speak with me. They passed the phone over to me and I explained the problem. They then asked me to put the building security back on the phone. Security hung up and was told to tell me that I would be getting a phone call from the owner "shortly". I received NO contact from owner at all. Still no way to lock the door and secure the room and apparently no one cared. This really ruined my trip. My choices were to sit in my room and go nowhere (in which case I may as well have stayed home), or trust that no one will come in while I'm gone. Plus the thought of sleeping in a room with no way to lock the door didn't make me feel very comfortable, especially in a big city. I guess the owner doesn't care about their guests' safety. I did not go out and do half the things I wanted to because I was concerned about leaving my belongings unsecured, and when I did go out, I couldn't enjoy myself.

Good Day, This is a formal complaint! It took us 2 hours just to get the host to check us in and when we got to the apartment the door was not locking! We could not stay there and had to leave to go to another hotel. We requested a refund from the host who was willing to give us this but said Expedia had to contact them first! We called Expedia and were told they could not get the host on the phone no on record and will send them an email. I gave a cell number to call and was told they cannot use this cell no but then asked ME for the email address of the host! This is terrible service!

The check in process was terrible. They sent a link to pay a damage deposit. Link didnt work. I asked them to resend but still didn’t work. I tried to communicate with email but didn’t get any sastifaction. When we arrived at the property we couldn’t check in because damage deposit wasn’t received. I tried to call the numbers on website. No answer. It was 5 pm ( not midnight ) the security guard was fantastic and told me to keep calling and he also called a number. Eventually he spoke to someone. They resent me a link for damage deposit. I paid and they let me in the room. The room was ok. It seemed clean but very dated with carpet in bedroom. The elevator in the building is very slow and there are a lot of Tennants. We waited for 20 min for an elevator to fit in ( all were full ) and ended up walking down 19 flights of stairs because we were going to be late for an event. Overall it wasn’t a terrible experience. The location is perfect!!!. Thankful for the security guard or I’m not sure we would have had a room.

Good downtown location, easy walking distance to Rogers Centre. Check-in process is completely via email (not app or in person) which is not ideal. The apartment was fine except for the massive floor damage that prevented me from opening the door fully, a problem known before I arrived. Was asked by Global Stay to allow repair people in the unit to repair floor. Three of the four elevators went down during stay which meant ~20 minute wait; security guard wasn’t allowed to unlock stairs and residents said it happens regularly. Probably a fine option under normal circumstances but not a great experience for me.

They really need to have a devoted person for check in process they have in place . after repeated attempts but 24 hours of no communication I arrived on our flight with my family full of anxiety and by chance some finally answered my call!! The location is awesome for sure but the buildings has only 2 working elevators that we waited on daily finally took 32 flights of stairs

Upon arriving at the listed address we found they did not have a room for us, and after a 40 minute automated hold I finally got a representative that sent my check in instructions, although we had book weeks in advance and filled out the required forms as they were sent to us the days leading up. I noted the instructions had a different address, but rook whatever room we got, as I didn’t want to risk getting no room at all and having to scramble to find a place last minute. The room turned out to be a few blocks away, so we had to move the car (not easy in downtown) and upon arrival it was not close in value to what this listing shows. The washing machine had clearly leaked recently and the entry flooring was patched with bubbled up hard carpet that prevented the door from opening without stomping it down and some force, and the unit smelled wet and moldy. We did nothing but sleep and were gone first thing the next morning, but it was disappointing and I hope not the normal experience with this listing - but it was our experience. I had Expedia call to attempt a refund which was denied since we stayed ‘at a hotel of theirs’ and didn’t complain…I had better things to do with my 1 night in the city than wait on hold again for 40 minutes. Book with caution - hopefully you get the listed address and a room pictured here.

Booked this place in February but was told the booking wasn’t confirmed until all manner of information received (passport information, drivers license etc). No further communication and no paperwork on my end submitted so assumed not confirmed. No reminders or booking or request for more information until day of check-in. Attempts to get ahold of business challenging (only daytime hours) and only met with ‘contact hotels.com’. Wouldn’t provide any refund (I recognized I would have to pay for first night) or attempt to resolve matter. Beware!

Be aware of what you’re booking. Location ended up being different then was was on Expedia site only found it out on the train traveling there. Got to property and did not have check-in instruction (got there at 5:30pm so it was not an early checkin) Check in process is not smooth, communication using the expedia app is pretty much useless, some of there messages dont even come through. once checked in the room was ok, but there clearly had been some recent water damage near the from door and then covered by a rug lol. The fact that these property management Units are cheaper then most hotels is very appealing just be aware that it comes with with difficulties and some communications issues.

30 minute wait for elevators. Not a hassle free check in and check out . Booked through expedia , got sent extra payment links after even tho we paid in advance for deposit fees which where no listed anywhere .

The property contacted me months after my booking and told me that the apartment I had booked was no longer available and they needed to move me to a different apartment in the same building. I have multiple emails confirming that they changed the original reservation to another apartment on a higher floor. They confirm parking availability at that time and confirmed that they would contact me days prior to check-in. The evening prior to my arrival, I had not heard from them, so I contacted them via email requesting check-in information. I did not receive a response. The next morning, on the way to the airport, with my family of five, I contacted them through Expedia messages having not reply via email. They responded to my Expedia message saying that my apartment was not available and they were so sorry and they tried contacting me. I replied that they had already changed the apartment months prior, posted screenshots of all the emails. I then contacted Expedia and they connected me with the property. The employee then lied; told me my apartment had not been rebooked and when I told her I had emails, she then me it was an emergency and that it occurred that day. When I pointed out that, they had already pulled this once and that IF she was telling me the truth, and it was an emergency, I would’ve received check-in information. She disconnected the call refused to answer my or Expedia’s phone calls. Having been scammed, I found online similar stories from others that booked.

Location and description were great. Lack of response to clarify how to complete the deposit ahead of time; got back to me on the day of my check-in. Very convenient place to stay, but note for the ladies, lighting is not favourable for makeup!

Worst experience with a stay ever. After booking we spent 2.5 hours at the booked location trying to communicate with the host to check-in and get information. They want ID and more.money for damage deposit. After a very slow process of emails, unanswered phone calls, and Expedia messaging we finally confirmed and we were given directions to a total different location and place than what we booked. Had to walk with all our luggage. It was a absolutely terrible experience but we needed a place to sleep. Please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.

The location was excellent, very central to many amenities and never far from attractions or venues. The room was a little worse for the wear. The laminate floor was completely popped up and it was a bit smaller than anticipated but very clean, bed was very comfy, view was lovely and it was very well priced. Two nights in Toronto in an apartment style accommodation was excellent. There were three adults and we made it work for us! I would absolutely book here again.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with using Expedia on booking a place to stay we flew to Toronto, got in after midnight got to the building and they had nothing on file for us for check in, 1:40am with bags and my family and told us they have nothing on file for us and had to go and book another hotel, thankfully that was available, then after finally getting a email address for the property management company to communicate to, they said they had everything ready for us but it was too late.i already went and got a hotel for my family and they kept asking after we told them we found another place if we were gonna come back and check in. There was never any communication between the host and us no emails nothing in how to check in just the vague description on Expedia and good luck finding a number and calling them and getting someone to talk to it goes to a voicemail and they never returned our calls. I even called Expedia and not once but twice spoke to someone different and both of there agents guaranteed me that I would be contacted by the host and emailed the confirmation and check in email and that never happen either.

Sofa bed was damaged and impossible to sleep into, had to remove the mattress and lay it onto the floor in the living room. No extra pillows provided for the sofa bed and those in the main bedroom were of very poor quality. The lighting in the washroom so weak you could not put on make up in there, had to go in the corridor in front of the closet mirror doors, same to blow your hair as the electricity outlet was not functioning in the washroom. The shower curtain pole was falling all the time from the walls and the shower head was soooo bad, no pressure and essentially sprinkling water coming out. Poor quality of bedding in the Bedroom, a combination of unmatching bed sheets and poor quality conforter, the bed frame was wobbly and we felt we would fall if we’d move too much. Constant noise in the living room of water flowing from within the walls. Only one key available for the residents. Need to park the car aside and check in before you can access the garage with the token. Bring your own toilet paper, only 3 rolls were provided for us 3 for the duration of the stay! Will never go there again!

We had a 2 night stay. Despite a very minor glitch in communication, check in and check out was easy and smooth. The unit was clean, a large assortment of amenities present, and the pictures were an accurate representation of the unit. Extremely well situated, close to everything downtown. Next time we're in Toronto, we will definitely rebook!!

Great location, across the street from Roger’s Centre, C.N. Tower and the aquarium. The value that you got for what you paid was fantastic!!! Spacious bedrooms with two bathrooms, great view and fully functioning kitchen! Definitely a place I would recommend for people that are attending events downtown :)
