Did not use the spa. Check-in staff were less than helpful. Housekeeping staff excellent Staff of lobby bar excellent. Please retain the feeling of an old property, but it truly needs a facelift and front desk staff training.

Controller for the TV was difficult to navigate. One of the elevators displayed the incorrect floor when it arrived. This should be fixed. Overall stay was pleasant. Would do it again.

The property is very nice. We were there for a wedding and our room was in a private area overlooking the garden. Considering the cost per night, I was expecting a bit nicer and friendlier staff. The few times we interacted with staff, they were rather rude. The key cards kept deactivating regardless of if they were near phones or not. The bed made my back sore so I kept waking up.

Beautiful building and grounds in a beautiful area. The mattresses and pillows are old and uncomfortable, scratchy single-ply toilet paper, curtains are cheap heavy plastic and not on the rail well…I could go on. Essentially, for the price and claims of ‘luxury’ I expect more. I won’t stay again nor will I recommend this hotel. A shame, it could be really special

Really lovely property. Definitely some old charm, elevators don’t always work. My only complaint is that when we checked in we said we didn’t want cleaning service, and the front desk lady said “but you are staying to 3 nights!” Yea, sooo… we said ok then and when we checked out, they proceeded to charge us $12.50 a night for cleaning our room!!! Way to let us know ahead of time.
