Checkin / checkout not super friendly- Live entertainment on Saturday which was nice - but that meant you couldn’t get in the restaurant….and there is nowhere else close by to eat. They don’t take reservations! IMO - they should limit the time for a seating if they are that busy. When we did get to have a meal - the Food was pretty good - and service was good. I was surprised there were no “lotions” in the room . And it seemed that more umbrellas at the pool would be good - and some on the patio for the lodge would be good - as there is no shade on the front patios. Not a problem for me - but most people would not enjoy it - and I rarely saw anyone on the upstairs decks. The location is not super convenient- u have to drive everywhere if u want to hike or Swim or have a meal Elsewhere

Nice property in a great location. Staff were excellent particularly in coffee shop. Villas need some updating and upkeep but generally in good condition.

Room is clean and cozy with patio and harbour view.

Always the best time here! Second time back this year and already talking about our next visit.

Lovely location. Pub food and entertainment was very good.

Beautiful spot, nice room. Some wait staff were excellent, a few were barely friendly. Shampoo and conditioner were provided but no lotion.

Excellent location. Rooms, restaurants, pools, marina - well run. Only inconvenience - the room key cards - too easy to demagnetize.

This resort is in dire need of updates. Finished in 2004, it probably hasn't had any work done since - which is a shame because the potential to be a top-notch resort again is there. Aside from the usual repairs, furniture, paint and equipment (an ice machine would be nice and for God's sake AIR CONDITIONING!!! - the rooms become unbearable in the afternoon). There appears to be management/staffing issues (ie. restaurant service options) and I feel for the employees there that are doing their best to provide good service, but I have to question whether neglect from ownership is the root cause? While we enjoyed our stay overall, I probably wouldn't come back until after the above issues had been addressed.

Overall, a great resort and great get-a-way from Victoria. Food was excellent at the pub/restaurant. We would have liked more privacy between the hot tubs in the cottages - a privacy screen or something.

We’ve been here a couple of times before. The setting is absolutely gorgeous but the resort definitely needs a refresh in every way. Rooms needs to be air conditioned or have fans that work. The restaurants need to be open every day. The coffee shop needs to be open. How can you run a hotel when half your amenities are not available yet you still pay full price for the room. They were definitely understaffed like so many hotels all over. This could so easily by a 5star hotel with a little help.

Great time just need AC installed for those hot days and itd be perfect.

Stay was great. Beautiful resort. Had a couple of issues. Main floor bathroom couldnt use. Not fixed while we were there. Thought supplies should have been more for 3 nights. Had to ask for more coffee, sugar, toilet paper etc.

Very nice property. Customer parking is not close to entrance and maybe difficult to access if you cannot go up an incline. A night the pathway from the parking to the entrance is not well lit. Breakfast is pricey but very good. $65.00 including tip for 2 people for eggs and bacon.
