Realky nice place to stay if you want to relax in the town of Carleton. While it's directly in the center of the most touristic area, people around seem to remain quiet at night time, which is a good thing. People at the reception are also pretty nice and they even let us stay in the same building for convenience (we booked two rooms but separatedly so we weren't originally staying in the same building).
The hotel gives us access directly to the boardwalk beside the sea and also a convenient pool as the sea water is kind of hard to swim in. It's also close to all other restaurants and a drug store as well. However, if you need to go to a grocery store you might have to walk a bit or use your car.

I didn't realize our room was going to be in a building so far from the main bldg. It was clean and bed was very comfortable, but we were next to a utility room and there was a constant hum during the night. There was a nice green area in front of our bldg and we moved our lawn chairs there to get a better view of the water. Unfortunately, the roadway can be noisy with truck traffic, but we loved the little community.

This is a large commercial hotel. It is right on the 132 so there is traffic noise during the night. Bus tours stay at the hotel so dining reservations can be limited. If you are looking for charming seaside accommodation I would suggest you book elsewhere.

We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. There is a boardwalk across the street that you can walk along the bay. Just beautiful to see the sunset.

On aurait qu’on était dans une chambre de motel lavabo sur pied pas de savon dans la douche, contenant ne fonctionnait pas, miroir pendant, robinet nous restait dans les mains, la housse de couette glissait toujours au sol, meubles disparates, à part la vue sur la mer et le restaurant il n’y avait rien d’agréable.
