Although the staff has helped us and we are so grateful, the motel itself is in terrible condition. A muddy smell has to be covered up with a strong, toxic deodorizer. We have to leave and drive home because of the headache caused by the deodorizer.

Granted we just needed a place to stay for a fishing trip on Erie. Its pretty rough looking outside.
Several "guests" who live there. Several work trucks so workers stay there.
Not a bad thing but just saying.
Its just a very tired scruffy kind of place.
We were looking forward to sitting out back by the rivers and dinner at the picnic tables but the chairs are grubby and the picnic tables in really rough shape.
We watched another couple attempt to but the woman refused to take a seat and they left the yard area.
Its ok for a nights stay but I'll never understand why people let these little motels fall into this condition.
Many sit at the seating by each door smoking so that wasn't an option to sit outside.
We did note the king size bed was very comfortable and thankfully got a good night sleep.
I really dont like to and rarely do write a less than good review but it is what it is.
